Story
Bentley is an 8 year old maltese. He was given to me by a friend 6 years ago as his wife did not want a dog in their home and was not kind to him. He is so loving and always wants to snuggle and get belly rubs. He is full of energy and loves to run around the yard and roll around in the grass in the sun (or snow), but will happily relax next to you when its time to chill. He would do best in a home where he is not alone for too long. He does bark if someone comes to the door but I just pick him up and introduce them and he's all snuggles! He is an incredible dog with the most adorable personality. Him and my cat are like watching a cartoon, playing and chasing each other but then sleeping on either side of me. This is breaking my heart but life and health situations are making it my only choice. I just want him to be loved like I love him. ❤️❤️❤️

Story
Aiden’s a 12yo 11lb Maltese mix. He’s dog friendly and is older kid friendly. He doesn’t like dogs or in her personal space unless he feels comfortable with them. He is pee pad trained and will wear a Belly Band. He’d be good in a secure fenced yard but might need his person out there with him and when going for walks he tends to bark at other dogs. He’s sweet, loyal, attention-seeking, enjoys short walks, vocal about his wants and likes to be with his person snuggling next to them or on their lap. Aiden MUST have a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time along with people who will give him the time and attention he seeks. If your home DOES NOT fit this please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone not a fit. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Aiden is neutered, vaccinated, hw negative and microchipped. Currently in Phila, PA. If your home fits the bio and MUST haves and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org
