Story
Meet Cece: The Sweet and Shy Boxer-Mastiff Mix! Cece is a stunning one-year-old Boxer-Mastiff mix who weighs 72 lbs and has a heart as big as her frame. Raised with love after her mom tragically passed when Cece was just a tiny puppy, she was bottle-fed and cared for by a kind woman who helped her grow into the sweet, gentle girl she is today.Cece’s shyness is part of her charm—she’s still learning to trust the world and is looking for a patient, loving family to help her gain confidence. While she may take a little time to warm up, once she does, you’ll find her to be incredibly affectionate and loyal. Her calm demeanor and soft, soulful eyes will melt your heart, and she’s happiest in quiet, safe spaces where she can feel secure.Cece is perfect for someone who understands the beauty of earning a shy dog’s trust and is ready to give her the time and love she needs to blossom. In return, Cece will be a devoted companion who will love you unconditionally. Are you the special someone Cece is waiting for?  ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.January 6, 2025, 7:38 pm

Please contact Connie Kiggins (conniek@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.sweet XL girl ISO her home! OAKLEY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:  Oakley          Best Guess for Breed:  Mastiff and retriever mix   Best Guess for Age:  5 months as of December 2024        SEX:    Female   Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!):    42 lbs as of 12/22/24   Gets Along With:        Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.   Currently Living at:   Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to come up!   Special Adoption Considerations:       Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.  Oakley is Looking For:   Woof! My sisters Poppy, Piggy, Tubbs and my brother Cooper and I enjoyed our puppy pile but now we're eager to split up and get our own homes! I'm not complicated - I'd love to have a family to take walks with, go on hikes with, take car rides with, go to the dog park and a training class!! I would love to show my humans how much I love them. My needs are really rather basic: food, a bed (I can certainly share yours in a pinch hahaha I'm not really kidding I can), some toys (I promise not to use your shoes instead plus you're going to be smart and put them away ; ) ), some walks (and those are good for you too) and trips to the dog park or doggie day care (also I'm sure good for you!). And in exchange, I'll be the best girl for you and love you for the rest of my life!!    What do you say? Is there space for me in your home and your heart?  What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once she has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster.  Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!  TO ADOPT:       The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.    If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online bit.ly/adoptaluckydog   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption.
