PLEASE READ WHOLE AD- DOG IS COMING SOON- APPLY NOW AS IT TAKES 7-10 DAYS  DOG ARRIVAL DATE IS DEPENDENT ON FOSTER AVAILABILITY. WE ARE SHORT FOSTERS SO IT WILL TAKE TIME AND WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A DATE OR LOCATION. All dogs are kept up to date on age appropriate vaccines/preventatives while in foster care. Puppies are not yet altered due to their young age. Applications to adopt can be found online at https://www.pack9rescue.org/applications/ We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org . Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. If you follow DDDR, then you already know who this sweet girl is. But for those of you who may not know her, let me introduce you to Betty Lou! Betty Lou came to our rescue as a neglect case. After some TLC, good antibiotics and 3 surgeries...she is ready for her forever home 🥰 Betty Lou is an approximate 8 year old Mastiff (over 100lbs). Don't let her age scare you, she now has a clean bill of health and a lot of love to give. If considering adopting, ask yourself these questions: Would you enjoy having a 4 legged shadow? Are you ever cold at night and think, wow a dog to keep me warm sure would be nice? Ever have concerns that your sofa may run away and a dog to hold it down would be just the trick? Need a companion for car rides? Enjoy the sound of dog snores? If you answered YES to all of these questions, then Betty Lou is the girl for you! Betty Lou is also house broken, spayed, dog/cat friendly and loves kids. We assume a man was not nice to her at some point in her life because she is shy around men (warms up in time). Story
Opha is a very sweet but anxiously attached two-year-old mixed breed. We don't know very much about her background, but she has been well loved and cared for over the nearly two years she's been with us. Opha needs an experienced adopter with a calm, quiet and consistent environment. While she has bonded with our older dog and our baby, they seem to trigger her anxiety. We'll be happy to pass along the contact information for her trainer and veterinarians to her adopters.

Story
Anya is a Boerboel mix all guardian breeds so she is strong willed but, has a kind nature. She is great with other dogs once properly introduced. Has never been vicious but sounds like it. My sons ignorance of these breeds will not to allow my granddaughter to visit as long as I have her. My heart aches over this but, I have to respect my sons wishes when it concerns his family. She needs a human who knows how to handle a strong breed like her and she will intern be loyal, loving and protective companion. She is not a stay in the back yard pet but, would be love a fenced yard to run in. She does need more exercise than I can provide for her now that I live in an apartment. She is great at dog parks although she sounds like a crazed dogs before entering. She needs more training with manners. She is a mix of several guardian breeds and I will give you her DNA report to help you understand her personality and behaviors better.
