Story
Titan is a 1.5-year-old, energetic, and playful dog adopted from BARCS animal shelter in Maryland. He loves running outside, chasing balls and frisbees, and playing tug-of-war in the backyard. While he is crate trained, he barks loudly for the first few minutes when put in his crate. In December, he had two seizures in one day, but he has been fine since and seems to have been an isolated incident. Titan has a big personality about showing his frustration he huffs and puffs dramatically when told no; and he also is a bit of a troublemaker, especially when it comes to stealing bread, which he has successfully done before, leaving the empty wrapper next to him as undeniable evidence. No matter how many times he gets caught, he still watches any bread in sight with a hopeful stare, always plotting his next move. Despite his mischievous side, he’s a lovable pup who enjoys treats like doggy ice cream and chicken sticks.

Story
Dapper gentleman!Meet Newton – The Dapper Gentleman! Looking for a dog with both style and smarts? Meet Newton, a handsome 3-year-old brindle Mastiff mix, weighing about 65 pounds. With his regal looks and impeccable manners, Newton is the definition of dapper—but despite his charm, he was overlooked at an overcrowded shelter. Fortunately, his luck changed, and he was selected for a board and train program at Ridgeside K9 Central MD to polish his skills and prepare for his forever home. Smart, Eager, and Full of Personality Newton quickly impressed his trainers with his enthusiasm for learning. He’s food-motivated, eager to please, and already knows Sit, Paw, Down, and basic leash manners. His training is focusing on: &#226&#156&#133 Obedience & impulse control &#226&#156&#133 Leash walking & engagement with his handler &#226&#156&#133 Advanced commands like recall with distance & distractions &#226&#156&#133 Socialization with other dogs & people of all ages &#226&#156&#133 Exposure to public places for confidence-building Newton loves people and has a playful, joyful energy, acting like a much younger pup when he jumps, runs, and interacts. He has shown an affectionate nature—especially towards women—and has been friendly with dogs of all sizes. His training will help determine the best home environment for him. Since he was found as an underweight stray, Newton is still filling out to reach a healthy weight. With continued love and care, he’s sure to thrive in a home that appreciates his charm, intelligence, and big heart. Ready to Bring Home This Dapper Gentleman? Adoption Fee: $450 (includes neuter, routine vetting, and microchip). To apply for Newton, visit www.tarashouse.org or email info@tarashouse.net with any questions. Newton can’t wait to meet his forever family—could that be you? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143February 23, 2025, 5:42 pm

Story
He was left behind when his owners moved out. Very affectionate. He looks like a goofy, kind of floppy hound dog as he ambles around. He’s sweet and affectionate. Gets along with most dogs. He’s a little bossy with food especially with a timid dog. Feeding in a crate solves that. Loves his play time in the yard with two stout dogs. Great on a leash. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. Tanner's adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. If transport is needed, his adoption fee is $525 (out of state, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions).Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to Your Browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN.
