Story
If you follow DDDR, then you already know who this sweet girl is. But for those of you who may not know her, let me introduce you to Betty Lou! Betty Lou came to our rescue as a neglect case. After some TLC, good antibiotics and 3 surgeries...she is ready for her forever home 🥰 Betty Lou is an approximate 8 year old Mastiff (over 100lbs). Don't let her age scare you, she now has a clean bill of health and a lot of love to give. If considering adopting, ask yourself these questions: Would you enjoy having a 4 legged shadow? Are you ever cold at night and think, wow a dog to keep me warm sure would be nice? Ever have concerns that your sofa may run away and a dog to hold it down would be just the trick? Need a companion for car rides? Enjoy the sound of dog snores? If you answered YES to all of these questions, then Betty Lou is the girl for you! Betty Lou is also house broken, spayed, dog/cat friendly and loves kids. We assume a man was not nice to her at some point in her life because she is shy around men (warms up in time). Please reach out if Betty Lou sounds like the dog for you

Story
If large, boxy headed breeds are your favorite, then Duke is your man! Duke is believed to be a mastiff mix and is 73 pounds of love. This big boy is looking for a place to call his own after an extended shelter stay. Now in a foster home, Duke is proving to be a gentleman. He is housebroken and is working on his crate training skills. He clearly loves his people and insists he is a lap dog of course. Duke is curious about the cats in his foster home, but accepts hissing as his warning to go find another activity. He is loving the variety of bones offered in his foster home! Duke is newer to our rescue and we will make updates soon! Duke is neutered and vaccinated! This dog's adoption fee is $400. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on information we may have been provided, and the appearance of the animal.
