Story
What a big, handsome boy! Sandals is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 69 pounds. Sandals is a friendly pup with an outgoing, connecting, and affectionate nature, who is looking for a furever home. He has more of a calm demeaner, loves giving kisses and even likes to try to sneak up in your lap, he really doesn’t seem to know his size! What a good boy he is at relinquishing his toys too and has a great recall. While Sandals is an incredibly sweet dog, he will need some basic obedience training as he can get a bit excited and jumpy sometimes. His adopter also needs to know how to establish themselves as a leader and understand the importance of this with a large breed dog. A home where any children are at least 13 years old is just what he needs. Sandals will make a great companion for someone looking for a playful, enthusiastic and adventurous friend! If you are interested in Sandals and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
