Every question must be answered, and it must be signed.-Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 50-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.-You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). What a big, handsome boy! Sandals is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 69 pounds. Sandals is a friendly pup with an outgoing, connecting, and affectionate nature, who is looking for a furever home. He has more of a calm demeaner, loves giving kisses and even likes to try to sneak up in your lap, he really doesn’t seem to know his size! What a good boy he is at relinquishing his toys too and has a great recall. While Sandals is an incredibly sweet dog, he will need some basic obedience training as he can get a bit excited and jumpy sometimes. His adopter also needs to know how to establish themselves as a leader and understand the importance of this with a large breed dog. A home where any children are at least 13 years old is just what he needs. Sandals will make a great companion for someone looking for a playful, enthusiastic and adventurous friend!
