Story
Do you want a dog that brings positivity and removes negativity from your life? Get yourself a Chimney! Chimney, the adorable Min Pin, is ready to join your household. He's a mellow fellow who would rather Netflix and chill then hike and bike. Because he's a tad bit underweight, he requires never ending treats and second dinners until he gets to a healthy chunk. Chimney loves a good cuddle, he likes hanging out with other dogs, and his invisible tail wags will blow your mind. Swipe right on Chimney because you can't possibly go left. He's a real catch! Here's some notes from his foster: Chimney loves treats and meal time. He has the cutest (and slowest) little trot when he gets excited or wants to chase down a smell. He loves being carried in your arms and hanging out up high. He loves to snuggle in his blanket. He’s all about achieving the highest form of coziness! Walks aren’t really his thing right now, just quick trips to the garden for bathroom breaks. He needs to be carried up stairs. He’s got a curious nose, especially in the kitchen. His eye sight and hearing aren’t the most dependable but his sense of smell rules, so caution during human meal time - Chimney will be right by your side. He loves his foster brother and all dogs he’s met. He's a superstar cuddler. Loves burrowing and cozying up. Sleeps perfectly through nights in his crate. Let's not forget how much he loves sleeping in!

Story
Meet Carter, a spirited red Miniature Pinscher with a heart full of energy and charm! Despite his age, Carter remains incredibly spry and loves to stay active, making him a perfect companion for an energetic household. He is highly social and thrives on interaction, always eager to make new friends. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate pup to brighten your days, Carter is the one for you! Here's some notes from his foster: I took Carter home for a quick one night "get to know you" foster and here is what I learned about him. Carter is very inquisitive, both on walks and in the home. Despite being anxious in new surroundings with his little tucked tail, that does not stop him from wanting to explore and check things out. He would also like to know what you're doing and will follow you as you do tasks around the house. He does need time to gain some confidence, loud noises startle him. When hearing loud noises his eyes will get wide and he will stop what he is doing until the sound stops. This may change over time in a stable home, but I think he would do best in a calm and quieter home. Carter does know his name and will come when you call him. He also responded well to being told "no". He loves food and will gladly eat all of yours if you let him. Carter isn't a lap dog. He will come over for pets, but usually settle by himself to lay down. He will follow you around, but then also get up on the couch and fall asleep by himself. He settled pretty easily in his bed next to mine for the night and did not have any accidents in the house. He was fine with our two dogs that he met and interacted with. They sniffed him all over and attempted to bring him toys and play, but Carter did not engage. He was very respectful of their space.

At around 3 years old, Clover has spent the past few months proving what an incredible mama she is. She’s raised her beautiful puppies with love and patience, and now that they’re ready for their own families, it’s finally time for her to be someone’s baby! This affectionate and devoted girl is more than ready to soak up all the love she’s been giving to her little ones—now she just needs a family to give it to her. Clover weighs 13lbs so she's a viable option for sitting under the seat of an airplane or just riding copilot in the car as kids are being taken to school. Clover is the ultimate velcro dog. Wherever you are, that’s where she wants to be! Whether she’s standing by your side while you get ready in the morning, lounging under your desk while you work, or curling up on the couch for snuggles at the end of the day, she just wants to be with her people. And if you forget to give her a good morning pet? She’ll politely remind you with an adorable little whine! She’s a total lovebug and thrives on attention—she just wants all of her favorite humans together. If you’ve ever wished for a shadow that gives kisses and wags its tail when you walk in the room, Clover is your girl! While she loves cuddling up on the couch and keeping you company throughout the day, Clover is always up for a walk. The moment you grab her leash, she’s ready to go! She can get excited and pull a bit, especially if she sees a bird, but she’s learning that walks are even more fun when you don’t have to worry about sudden squirrel-induced detours. When she’s not out stretching her legs, you can find her lounging under the desk or snuggled up in her cozy crate—her safe space. Clover would thrive in a home where she has plenty of love and company. She adores people and wants to be near them as much as possible, so she’d love a family where someone is home most of the time. She can be a little sensitive to loud noises and might need a few extra pets to reassure her when she gets nervous, but her sweet and loving personality shines through in every cuddle session. She would do well with a family who’s willing to be patient as she continues to gain confidence, and she’s already showing interest in playing with other dogs.Clover has also shown that she can be a great companion for other dogs! While she was initially a little shy around her foster sibling, she has since warmed up and even tries to initiate play. She’s a bit of an awkward goof, so a patient dog who can help her build confidence and show her the ropes would be a great match. While she isn’t the most rambunctious pup, she finds comfort in having another dog around, even if it’s just for company. With time and gentle encouragement, she could blossom into the perfect playmate for a resident dog. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will be your biggest fan, your shadow, and your cuddle buddy, Mama Clover is ready to meet you. She’s been the best mom to her babies—now it’s her turn to be someone’s whole world.March 15, 2025, 12:32 am

Story
Meet Maxie! This sweet girl is bonded to Tizzy and they've landed an amazing foster home together, which has helped us learn more about this pair. Maxie and Tizzy are super sweet, affectionate and pretty chill dogs. They love to snuggle in the same bed and curl up together to sleep, or seek out a spot next to their humans on the couch. They are gentle with treats and will follow you everywhere you go in the house like little ducklings. They are dog friendly with other dogs and enjoy running around in the backyard, playing chase with their foster siblings. They are (mostly) potty trained, and are making quick progress, so we expect them to pick this up no problem with some consistency. Their initial encounter with one kid didn't seem to bother them, so they would likely be happy living in a family environment. They both could use some extra training to improve on their leash manners, but are learning to walk well when wearing harnesses without too much pulling. In just a week, they have learnt up their names and have great recall, so they have a lot of potential to pick up on training with some love and consistency! Does this pair sound like a fit for you? Please call 707-459-4900 for an appointment.
