Story
Hello, my name is Snowball (Snowy) and here is a little info about me:Breed: Mini Poodle MixAge: 5 years oldGender: Male, neuterdWeight: 14 lbsHeight: 15 in Snowball was rescued from a high kill shelter near LA. He was running out of time when he got rescued. He came to Canada a few months ago, his foster mom can't stop saying wonderful things about his good looks and personality. If you are looking for a good boy, Snowball is the one for you! He is fully house trained and good on the leash. He is Poodle mix, very low to non-shedding. He is great with other dogs, his energy level is moderate to high. He keeps up with you on walks but he isn't hyper. Snowball is working on his fetch skills, he gets the ball but doesn't know to bring it back! He is a very happy fluffy guy that that loves to cuddle. He is confident and outgoing but unfortunately we think he was abused by men at some point of his life. He is scared of most men and it takes some time for him to trust them. He is great with women and kids and his adopters must be willing to work with his issues. Snowball is an alert barker, he is great at telling you someone is at the door! For that reason we think it's best for him to live in a house and not a condo.  Snowball is cute, charming and handsome. He gets along well with other dogs but not good with cats. So a cat-free home is a must. Snowball is currently in a loving foster home in south Delta but wants nothing more than to find his forever home, please adopt him!  Energy Level: Moderate/high I get along with:Dogs: YesCats: NoKids: Yes no video Prey drive: unknown/not observed. My adopter needs to be willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise. Fears: Men, takes times to trust men Training: basicLeash skills:  GoodHouse trained: Yes I have been vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems. Basic training should be taken seriously but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if the dog is shown to be good with children we will approve homes with children 8 years or older. Story
Hi there! My name is Hare, and I'm excited to share my story with you. While I'm not exactly sure when I was born, people think I might have come into this world around 2017. My life took a significant turn in 2024 when I was rescued from an unlicensed breeding facility in Boryeong. Since then, I've been on a heartfelt journey to find my forever home, and I'd love to tell you a bit about myself. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but I have a soft spot for treats! If you offer me a tasty snack, I'll warm up quickly and enjoy being petted. Though I haven't met many children under 13, I promise to be gentle and kind. You can even rub my belly and lift me up for some cozy cuddles! I absolutely love going for walks and have learned to walk calmly on a leash, staying right by your side. After our outdoor adventures, there's nothing I enjoy more than curling up on the couch and relaxing together. When it comes to my dog friends, I like to say hello but prefer to keep my distance-I'm not much of a player and like to avoid any drama. To be honest, not many dogs catch my attention, and I've never encountered a cat before, so I'm curious but unsure of how I'd react. Sometimes, I can feel a little anxious when left alone, so I might let you know if I'm missing you. I'm working on building my confidence and learning that it's okay to be independent. I may also speak up when I want something from you-after all, communication is key! I'm fully trained to use indoor pads and enjoy outdoor bathroom breaks. I absolutely love food, so it's best to be cautious when feeding me. I tend to be more attached to humans than other dogs, and I calm down wonderfully when I'm with you. I truly thrive on human companionship, and I know I'll be happiest by your side. If you're looking for a loving, gentle friend to share your life with, I hope you'll consider bringing me into your home. I can't wait to show you just how sweet I can be! ##2260982##

Story
Hello. My name is Myra and below you'll find some info about me:Breed: Poodle/Terrier mixAge: 3 yearsGender: femaleWeight: 12 kg (27 pounds)Height: 35 cmCountry of origin: ChinaHighlights: friendly, loving, playful, smart, goofy If you like loving, goofy girly dogs, then come and get me.Having not done anything wrong, I was abandoned at a terrible shelter in China when I was a young pup. This sadly occurs in my country when people tire of having an animal. I stayed there for about a year and half until my rescuer took all of us dogs from that awful shelter to her own. She could no longer take the fact of how horribly we were treated and mistreated at that shelter.Life at my rescuer’s shelter is so much better and lucky me, my life is going to change completely for the better now, because my rescuer is sendint me to a loving foster home in Canada! Wooohoooo.I am a friendly and playful pup. Smart too. I do fine with other dogs, but those hissy, mewy things, well... I give them a what for and chase them. So, best to avoid a home with those critters. I am good with my rescuer's young daughter, so dog savvy kids are probably ok. I walk well on leash too.I just had a dental cleaning early December. The vet pulled a couple loose teeth. I am not affected by it though. I am just singing the song, all I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth. Hahaa.I'm still pretty young, so hoping we could find some fun activities to get out and do. Videos coming. Energy Level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: yes. Await videoCats: No, will chase cats.Kids: unknown, but good with the rescuer’s young daughter. Fears: none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.TrainingLeash skills: yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: in process. Please help me continue to learn. Health notes: I am missing a few front teeth, but it does not affect.I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Good with dogs,
Story
Introducing Zoodle or Zuzu as he's affectionately nicknamed. This 4 year old Mini Poodle/Bichon cross is approximately 15lbs, loves people and basking in the spotlight of attention, even if it means crowding out other dogs to get it. 🤩 Cuddling and being carried around like a baby are totally acceptable and expected. In fact, Zoodle thinks being close just ain't close enough. 😏 He's good with other dogs but much more interested in being with his person. Zoodle hasn't been around kids too much but he'll quickly show love to anyone willing to give him attention. 😍 Zoodle is good with cats and currently lives with four resident cats with no issues. He's always respectful of their space. Zoodle enjoys his walks and pulls a bit out of excitement because there's just so much to sniff and pee on. 😁 He only uses his crate at night and sleeps through the night easily. During the day, this good boy stays inside and waits by the window for his person to return. 🥹 Zoodle gets an A+ when it comes to potty training. He knows to do his business outside and he'll let you know when he needs out. This boy goes bonkers for chasing balls. Whether it's outside or inside the house, his excitement usually leads to a severe case of the zoomies afterwards. He loves to sleep on his back with paws up in the air, likely waiting to be scooped up and cradled for snuggles. Sometimes described as an "attention hog", Zoodle knows what he wants and that's always his person. 🥰 He can be a little picky with food choices but once he finds something he likes, Zoodle eats well without issue. He'll never say no to a nice warm bath....just make sure to include a lovely massage in the treatment. 😉 Zoodle is such a charming and loving little guy who's favourite spot seems to be wherever his person is. With no big demands, Zoodle just wants your love and affection. Meet Zoodle and be prepared to fall in love with the cutest little guy. 💙

Her name says it all....meet Sweetpea! This 5 year old Miniature Poodle/Australian Shepherd weighs approximately 20lbs and is the sweetest, most gentle girl looking for a loving home to help bring her out of her shell. She will reward you with snuggles upon snuggles. 🥰 Sweetpea is amazing with other dogs and looking for a home with another dog to keep her company and show her the ropes. She also needs a home with a fenced yard to keep her safe. She hasn't been around kids all that much but older kids would likely be best. Sweetpea is also great with cats and currently living with two foster cats with zero issues. Loud noises make Sweetpea very nervous but she is working hard on leash when going for walks. She loves her crate and has no issue spending time in there. Sweetpea is a rockstar when it comes to potty training. 👏👏 No accidents in the house and with regular access to outside, Sweetpea has maintained consistency. She is very smart! Do you love to chill on the sofa? Maybe enjoy the occasional movie? Sweetpea will happily join you as she likes to watch tv too. How about a little Animal Planet to wind down after a busy day? She also loves snuggles and will raise her paw when she needs some love. 🥹 Sweetpea has made a lot of progress since being with her foster family and despite her nervousness, snuggling on the sofa is one of her favourite things to do. 🥹 She has the sweetest heart and just needs a family to show her lots of love and that life around her isn't scary. If you're looking to add an amazing furry friend to your life, look no further. Sweetpea is your girl and she can't wait to meet you! ♥️
