Story
Meet Crème Brulée! She is the sweetest 8lb, 5-year-old miniature poodle and is the perfect companion for apartment living. With her low energy and reserved demeanour, she's an ideal cuddle buddy who enjoys a calm and peaceful environment.
Crème Brulée is blossoming every day. Though she had a tough start, spending her first five years as a puppy mill mama, she's now discovering what it feels like to be cared for, and it's amazing to see how much she has opened up in just the short time she's had since being rescued. She's already becoming quite the adventurer, showing curiosity on her walks and quickly learning to go potty outside. She loves the safety of her crate and sleeps the entire night in it.
This little lady is also a quick learner who's taking well to leash training and enjoys playing fetch with her toys indoors. While she's still gaining confidence, Crème Brulée loves having her people nearby and will likely become a cuddly, devoted companion once she feels settled. She loves to hang out, knowing that her people are nearby, but is very polite. She loves a good pet or scratch and will cuddle up right next to you if you let her, but she is also happy on her own.
Crème Brulée is still a little nervous, so we suspect that she would do better in a home with adults or older children; she will thrive in a calm and patient environment. While she hasn't been tested with cats, her gentle nature suggests she could be a good fit for a variety of homes.
If you're looking for a gentle, loving, and adorable little apartment pup, Crème Brulée might just be the perfect match for you!

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org. Once you are approved to adopt, you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it's a good match. We are a rescue, not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog based on the dog's needs.
Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list in high-kill shelters throughout the United States.
