Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 1/11/25 to NorCal and OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We would love to add Cocoa to our trip for the right home 💕 Meet our beautiful girl Cocoa ❤️ She is a 2 1/2 year old poodle/yorkie mix (yorkiepoo.) She weighs right below 11 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, had a dental cleaning done at time of her spay, along with a great phsycial exam ❤️ She is house trained, and will go outside when asked to throughout the day to use the restroom. She does love to be accompanied when outdoors, but if you are unable to she will hurry along so that she can come right back inside with you ❤️ She is crate trained, and currently sleeps in her crate at night, or to nap in during the day with the crate door opened. She is very easy going, and never fusses in her crate. She would love to be in bed with her humans, or on a bed all her own aside yours if permitted but no matter what the sleeping arrangements end up being she will happily oblige. She is leash trained, and loves her walks. She is a very happy, and social girl once she becomes acclimated in her environment. She loves to be a part of your day however she can, and if your short stroll is to the mailbox and back, she will be just as happy with that then if your stroll took you around the neighborhood or to the neighbor next door ☺️ Just make sure they have treats waiting for her, because the way to this girls heart is through food! She LOVES her treats, and will do a happy dance for them while she attempts to patiently wait for you to give her one (or two 🙃.) She knows basic commands like sit, come, stay, up (when inviting her on the bed or sofa,) down/off, and her favorite dance or treat 😂 She will do all the above for a treat! She is phenomenal with other dogs and cats alike, and is a very kind hearted, gentle, sweet soul ready to be part of any animals life if they will welcome her to be ❤️ She has a very calm nature, and serene temperament and will melt your heart from the moment you meet her ☺️ She is NOT a barker; and may or may not alert of unfamiliar sounds 🙃 it depends how comfy she is in her bed, or in your lap 💕 She is easy going, and easy to please. If you are looking for a little friend to enjoy your days with, to take along for rides around town, sit at the coffee shop with, or to venture off into the world on road trips of any length and any destination then Cocoa is definitely your girl!! She is amazing in the car, and will happily sit in her booster seat looking out the window enjoying the views or napping til you reach your stop 😊 She loves the groomer, and while she is a little head shy with the clippers, my groomer has always been very patient with her and she has come to trust her as she will her next groomer ❤️ Her prior owners couldn't financially afford her basic care any further due to loss of income on their end leaving them to have to move back in with family. They didn't know when, or how their situation would change and felt it was best to get Cocoa into a more stable environment so they contacted us here to take her in and find her the best home possible. Her adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/cocoa It covers her spay, vaccines, microchip and registration, her dental cleaning, additional anesthesia time, iv fluids, pain meds, antibiotic Injection given to aid in the healing of both her spay and dental, and her overall exam which went perfect. Her teeth were in overall great health, but did need a cleaning and polish ❤ And as always, it goes back into the care associated with the time she has been with us, her grooming costs, and her training that we have personally done with her.

Story
Megan is an intelligent and energetic dog with a heart full of love! She loves to play, explore, and get cuddles after a busy day. Megan is currently working on potty training and sleeps in a crate at night, but she’s making great progress. She is also learning to walk nicely on a leash and is proving to be a quick learner. Megan is learning to play fetch too! She loves to chase the ball—sometimes she’ll bring it back to you, and sometimes she drops it where it is. With her enthusiasm and quick learning, she would do great in a puppy training class to continue building her skills and confidence. She is the type of dog that will need regular grooming.Megan would do wonderfully with a family that has young children or with another younger dog or puppy to keep her company. She’s curious about cats, though she hasn’t had direct interactions yet. With her loving nature and eagerness to learn, Megan will make a fantastic addition to the right home. She is fully vetted, (Spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped) her adoption fee is $380.00If you’re interested in adopting Megan, please go to OFOSA.ORG and at the bottom of the available dogs page, fill out the application and the foster mom will contact you to meet and see if she is the one for you.

Story
Hailey is a wonderful 8 year poodle mix dog who has a lot of energy. She can get the zoomies, loves to play with a tennis ball or her stuffed toy Lamb Chop. She loves going for rides with you whether running errands or just going for a  drive.  She hates the rain but loves the sunshine. She is a California girl so of course she loves sitting in  the sun or shade and watches everything going on around her. She feels she has to protect her person. She also needs to be an only dog in the home. She is a very smart and very well behaved dog. She doesn`t chew on anything except her chew toys.  She will not chew or destroy furniture.  She is house trained and will not have accidents in the house. Sometimes she will let me know when she has to go out but most of the time I  will take her outside to do her business on a regular schedule of every 2 to 2.5 hours. She prefers women over men.  If this sounds like you could be her person please fill out a adoption application. Hailey needs to have a fenced yard to call her own. To meet Hailey, fill out the application at the bottom of our available dogs page on OFOSA.ORG and we will arrange a meeting to see if you and her are a good match. Her adoption fee is $280 for a fully vetted girl..

Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog youve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dogs needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesnt stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan Coupons for a fun visit to Petco Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
