Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** Kringle is a cute 18-month-old Poodle mix who weighs approximately 10 pounds. He has the poodle curly hair but has a dachshund body. When he was surrendered to us, he was so matted (could barely see because of his hair), flea ridden, BUT so friendly. He was starved for attention! He was initially afraid to come inside, but once he found out it was okay, he didn't want to go back out for the fear he may be stuck out there once again, He has since learned to trust and comes and goes as he likes. He is potty trained (& uses the dog door). He gets along with other dogs and seems to like every human he meets. He's very playful and loves to be cuddled. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. His adoption fee is $350. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our adoption events are held each Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
