Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Belle, the charming female black and white poodle mix with a heart as big as her fluffy coat! Born around September 27, 2021, Belle found herself in search of a new home through no fault of her own, as she was owner-surrendered due to circumstances beyond her control. Belle is a true delight to be around, with a friendly disposition that warms the hearts of everyone she meets. She's a people person through and through, always eager to shower her human companions with love and affection. Belle's favorite place to be is nestled in your lap, where she can snuggle up close and bask in your presence. Despite her petite size, Belle has a larger-than-life personality, weighing approximately 13.0 pounds. She's been diligently cared for and is heartworm negative, with preventive measures in place to ensure her continued health and happiness. Belle has received a ProHeart 12 treatment, providing protection against heartworms for an entire year. This sweet pup seems to get along with most dogs but will need to meet them prior to adoption so can not be adopted to a family with another dog outside of TX, although she may express herself vocally when confined to a kennel. Belle thrives on human connection and longs to be by your side, soaking up every moment of companionship. She's already mastered the art of potty training and walks like a dream on a leash, making her the perfect adventure buddy for outings. Belle's adoption fee is $400, a small price to pay for the boundless love and devotion she'll bring to her forever family. If you're searching for a social butterfly who adores both humans and furry friends alike, Belle is the perfect match for you. Don't miss the chance to welcome this lovable poodle mix into your life and experience the joy of unconditional love!  You can apply for Belle at www.adoggie4you.org   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225   . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 6:46 pm

Story
Looking for a miniature poodle companion that will join you for some walks? Well let me introduce you to Charlie! Charlie walks beautifully on a leash, naturally heeling and responding well to leash pressure. During his assessment, he preferred to keep a polite distance from other dogs, showing a preference for staying close to his handler. But his foster tells us he opens up a lot at home and likes to hangout with the other dogs he lives with! Charlie would also be happy to be your one and only canine companion! Charlie has a reserved nature and prefers to observe rather than engage, both with people and other dogs. He met the house cat and remained avoidant, making him a great dog for a home with cats! He would likely thrive in an apartment setting due to his small size and great leash skills. He might require a home without young children and would prefer a calmer home. With patience and understanding, Charlie will blossom into a loving and grateful companion. Adopt Charlie today and make him the happiest boy! Story
Gismo is a 2-year-old Poodle male about 15 lb. He's pretty good with other dogs and is being fostered in a home. His previous home was unable to keep him. He's can be vocal and high-strung. He's very cuddly and cute once he gets to know you. He can be wary of new people and new situations so taking it slow when you first meet him is crucial. He does fine in a crate. Gismo would do best with a single owner. He does fine with other dogs. No kids for Gismo, as he can bite when he's frightened or feels cornered. Gismo needs a family with a lot of rescue experience for him to overcome his behavioral issues. Gismo is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. His fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Give a warm welcome to Hugo! He is a 1 1/2-year-old, 22lb miniature poodle mix who came to us as an owner surrender from CA as they did not have the time to care for him. Hugo walks well on a leash and knows some basic commands. He is house trained, and crate trained. He loves other dogs would love another playful dog in the home. He is very energetic, and his favorite place is the dog park! He loves nothing better than being chased! He is also very good at entertaining himself by throwing toys in the air or making his own obstacle course in the backyard. Hugo would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can run and play. He is a sweet boy who loves to give kisses to his family but is not very comfortable with other people in the house. He is not well suited for a home with children or lots of visitors. Hugo is very smart and along with his energy would be a great candidate for agility courses! Hugo is up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Animal Profile: Ramen is an estimated 4 year old 15 lb neutered male miniature poodle who was a hot mess when he was pulled from the Carson shelter. He was at risk due to overcrowding but assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care.    Foster Update: Ramen is a cool little cup of noodles! He has been a quick study in foster care and is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash. He loves to work and train and is very smart. He catches on to new commands quickly. Ramen would do best in an adult only household, as it takes him time to warm up to strangers and he is more trusting of female companions. He has showed a little resource guarding when it comes to removing high value toys from his possession, but his trainer is working on tackling that behavior. Ramen is dog friendly, and would be best matched with a similar sized female dog his age.   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.   Apply online at  www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: Ramen was surrendered to Carson city shelter and transported to Dog Gone Seattle via Wiggle Butts arriving to foster care on 5/19/24; he will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. August 19, 2024, 12:18 am
