Story
Hi everyone, I’m Milly, a 2 year old Mini Schnauzer, and I’m looking for a family who will give me all the love and care I’ve missed out on. I weigh just 16 pounds and have a heart that is full of hope for a brighter future. I’ve spent my whole life confined to a puppy mill, so the world outside is still very new to me. I need a loving and patient family who can show me what it means to feel safe and truly loved. I’m super sweet, but I can be a little timid when I first meet new people. Once I warm up to you, though, I’ll be your best friend for life. You might notice my fur looks a little different right now—that’s because I had to be shaved down after being rescued. Don’t worry, though; my beautiful fur will grow back, and (hard to believe) but I’ll be even MORE adorable. The rescue has taken such good care of me, and they’ve scheduled my spay. I’m just waiting for the right family to come along and show me what it’s like to be truly cherished. If you’re ready to help me learn and grow, I can’t wait to meet you and be part of your life! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. KOKO is the cutest ever Schnauzer. Estimated DOB is 8/1/2023…so she’s about 1 yr old. She has lots of energy and loves attention. She is leery of strangers at first…but in about 10 mins a stranger is a friend. If you lover Schnauzers, you’ll love KoKo. She gets along with all my other dogs and leaves my cats alone…most of the time. It’s mostly that cats are fun to pester…it’s not a “prey-thing” where she would want to kill. As you can see, she has been to the groomer and the groomer said she did great. I would not put her with young children…she just may not like having her tail pulled, etc. She does love to play with stuffed toys and loves “treat time.” We are working on house training. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at petcentralsatx@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
This is a Courtesy Listing and has no affiliation with Petrescue. Please contact the owner listed below directly. Introducing Lorax, a charming 12-pound, 7-year-old Border Terrier mix with an unforgettable personality. Rescued from a local shelter, her past is a mystery, but her future looks bright. Lorax is housebroken when kept on a schedule and lives peacefully with a resident cat. She would flourish in a quieter home, ideally with a couple or a single person. While Lorax gets along with older children she knows, she prefers a calm environment and might find a bustling household overwhelming. She is affectionate with familiar faces but may bark at new visitors due to her cautious nature. An enthusiast of leash walks, Lorax is currently receiving training to manage her reactivity to other dogs and people. Her ideal home would have a fenced yard for her to explore and play in safely. She would thrive with an experienced dog owner who can continue her training and provide the structured environment she needs. We will not be able to accept applications from first time dog owners. Wagging Tails will provide a training session to help Lorax acclimate to her new home, ensuring a smooth transition for both her and her new family. Her inquisitive and intelligent nature, paired with her striking mustache, makes her an exceptional and adorable companion. If you're ready to offer a loving, patient, and experienced home, Lorax is eager to meet you and start her new adventure. www.waggingtailsdogrescueny.org

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Snazz - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello to y'all out there. Let me introduce myself, I'm Snazz for that snazzy lil Schnauzer that will make your heart go pitter patter! I am around a year and a half and come in at about 17lbs. Still a youngster, yet I've got a very chill manner about me, like an old soul in a young body. I do well with the other pups in my foster home but I'm not real playful. That could change as I get more comfortable with my family. I would probably make a better companion then playmate. I'm a pawsomely perfect size for tagging along on errands, going for leisurely neighborhood strolls or tackling some nature trails. I'm both house and crate trained which makes for a fabulous combo for my new family. We can get right to the fun stuff!!! I've got a ton of love to give and I'm ready to unleash it all on my new family. Could that be...YOU?!! Please fill out my adoption application found at haydudeequine.org
