Story
Bug ended up in a rural shelter in TX where she was part of a litter that the owners no longer wanted to deal with. The shelter was full and was going to have to start euthanizing for space. There was a plea out for several dogs and we ended up saving a few from there. Bug is a very sweet energic little girl. She is now ready for her new home after being fixed, had all shots, micro chipped, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Loves to play with other dogs. If you are interested in this pretty girl please email us at Doginghamrescue@aol.com so we can send you an application. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $650 includes the adoption and transport fee (will have a health certificate too). The transport fee is not refundable if things do not work out.

Story
Meet Sprout, the 3 year-old, 30lb canine connoisseur of fetch. Hailing from Louisiana originally, Sprout's first 6 months were spent in the cozy confines of his birth home, but that meant he missed out on the important socialization window, so he's a bit shy around new folks. Like a lot of dogs, he doesn't want immediate pets or attention from new people. But once he decides you're his human, you're in for a lifetime of devotion and doggy adoration.Sprout is a low-key kind of guy who thrives in a quieter household far from the hustle and bustle of city life. He's housebroken and crate trained, making him a dream to live with. He walks great on leash and is less interested in sniffing and more interested in moving. If he sees people or dogs on his walk, he just quietly keeps traipsing along. His absolute favorite pastime? Playing fetch-Sprout lives for the game and would happily chase a ball from sunrise to sunset! Seriously, get that throwing arm ready. This handsome guy needs a human who will be his champion, ensuring he's set up for success in all situations (meaning he's not interested in meeting new people or dogs on walks, no dog parks). Sprout's ideal home would be free of young children, as their unpredictability can make him uneasy. And because introducing dogs can be tricky, better play it safe and let Sprout be the King of the castle. Are you ready for a furry sidekick who's as dedicated to you as he is to his beloved ball? If you can provide a serene, loving home and endless games of fetch, Sprout just might be the perfect addition to your life. Fetch this delightful pup today! If you'd like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website - http://www.animalalliesrescue.org/adoption-application - and choose me, Sprout! My adoption fee is $300 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we've already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. We've been checked by a veterinarian, and we're up to date on age appropriate immunizations against rabies and DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus). We've been tested for heartworm and other tick borne diseases (4DX), and we've started our heartworm and flea preventive medications. Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. KOKO is the cutest ever Schnauzer. Estimated DOB is 8/1/2023…so she’s about 1 yr old. She has lots of energy and loves attention. She is leery of strangers at first…but in about 10 mins a stranger is a friend. If you lover Schnauzers, you’ll love KoKo. She gets along with all my other dogs and leaves my cats alone…most of the time. It’s mostly that cats are fun to pester…it’s not a “prey-thing” where she would want to kill. As you can see, she has been to the groomer and the groomer said she did great. I would not put her with young children…she just may not like having her tail pulled, etc. She does love to play with stuffed toys and loves “treat time.” We are working on house training. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at petcentralsatx@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.8/6/24 Angel is a 13 yr old Schnauzer (possibly mixed) who was rescued after her owner brought her to the vet to be euthanized. Why did they want her euthanized? Because her breath was stinky and they didn't want to pay for a dental cleaning. So here we are. Her teeth have been cleaned and she had many extractions. So she's eating soft food now. Aside from her teeth, this girl is in excellent health and does not act like a 13 yr old. She is as sweet as her name suggests and she gets along with everyone- kids, other dogs, cats. She has nothing but love in her little heart and it is a real shame that her previous owners didn't love her enough to provide the care she needed. Angel is about 15 lbs. She is all the things- house trained, leash trained, well mannered. If you're looking for a smaller dog who will go with you to run errands, and will snuggle you at home, Angel is your girl! Don't let her age stop you- she still has lots of life left! Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
