Story
Meet Layla, a gentle soul with a playful spirit. She`s a quiet, shy girl with a heart full of love. Her energy is infectious, always ready for a long walk or a dance on her hind legs if you have a treat. She weighs 14 pounds and is easy to handle. She seems to know a bit about house training but might need a refresher course. She stayed with her finder for three weeks and was easygoing with the small dog in the home. The big dogs at CAP scare her when they bark at her. We haven`t seen her around children yet. While she can be a bit skittish and nervous at times, she is affectionate and warms up quickly with some cuddles and sweet words. She is a social butterfly who just wants to please. Layla is not just a pet, she`s a loyal friend, a comforting presence, and a source of endless joy. Her happy demeanor and friendly nature make her a perfect companion. Adopt sweet Layla, and let her fill your life with love and laughter. (tw 2/27/2025)

Even knows basic commands--"good girl", "no!", "outside", "inside", "stay". comes to her name, and comes if you clap or whistle. She does well in a kennel with no accidents and does really well with a consistent potty training schedule. Gloria has epilipsy and needs seizure meds daily. Story
Meet Patty Bella! 🐾 Patty Bella is a 2-year-old, 8-pound Miniature Schnauzer who is looking for a patient and understanding home. She came to us as an owner surrender and, while she gets along well with other dogs, she is very scared and fearful of people. Patty Bella will need a calm and quiet home where she can decompress at her own pace and come out of her shell willingly. She’s currently working on her leash and potty training skills and will need a family who can continue to help her build confidence. Even though she’s shy, Patty Bella has a sweet heart and just needs the right environment to feel safe and secure. If you have the patience and love to give her the time she needs, Patty Bella will be forever grateful. 💕🐶 Adoption fee is: $550 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. Story
Meet Jack Frost! ❄️ Jack Frost is an adorable 4 month old, 11-pound Miniature Schnauzer puppy who’s full of energy and personality! This little guy came to us as an owner surrender from East Texas, and now he’s on the hunt for his perfect forever home. Jack Frost is playful, spunky, and always ready for an adventure. He absolutely loves toys and will happily entertain himself—or you!—for hours. He’s also very food-motivated, which will make training a breeze. Since he’s still young, he’s working on his house training and will need a family willing to be patient and consistent. Jack Frost gets along well with other dogs and would love a furry friend to play with. He’s also quite the talker, so a home that appreciates a vocal pup would be best. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, lively companion, Jack Frost is ready to warm your heart! ❄️🐾 Adoption fee is: $650 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract.
