Story
Kolby is a happy, well behaved 5-year-old Morkie (Maltese Yorkie) who lived with a single adult. He is currently in a home with adults and cats and likes everyone. Kolby enjoys sleeping with his people at night, cuddling on the couch, chasing balls, games of tug, and walks on a harness. He's not a diva but would enjoy regular spa days, short walks, healthy mid-day treats and mid-day potty breaks. Like many small dogs, Kolby should be protected from young kids and larger dogs. Plan for professional grooming costs of $78 every 6-8 wks. Typical of small breeds, he needs regular teeth brushing with a small toothbrush and paste like CET's enzyme toothpaste. Kolby enjoys small bites kibble and has no known food allergies. Kolby is staying with his previous owner's extended family, and they report no potty-training issues. Kolby can "hold it" like a big dog but would benefit from frequent potty breaks. The adoption facilitator has toys and dental products to gift Kolby's new family .

Story
This sweet little girl is guessed to be a 3 year old Yorkie/Maltese mix. "Dolly" is a shy girl and is unsure about being picked up, as she came to us from a breeder in Oklahoma and had minimal handling there. But once in your arms, she clings to you for reassurance and has never been snappy. Dolly is ready to learn what it feels like to be someone's special companion, living in a warm and loving home. Dolly will need a quiet and patient home, and needs another confident and friendly dog to help her come out of her shell and learn how to "dog". She is good with dogs and cats. She leans on her foster sister Pattycakes, and would love to be adopted with her if someone is looking for a precious pair of pups! Come and meet them in Cheyenne!

Story
March 13th, Updated profile, please read: - Mickey must have another dog in his home. - Mickey gets distressed if he is not with his people. He would love to have an adopter who is home the majority of the day. - When Mickey is distressed, he can loudly bark/whine. *********** Mickey is Albino which resulted in him being deaf and blind, but you wouldn’t know it, that is until you see him wander into something. He is the sweetest little pup. He loves to be on your lap or in bed with you. He can even jump in and out of the bed. He is surprisingly agile. Mickey is wonderfully “clingy” because he needs to smell you to know where you are. He walks really well on a leash. Mickey is incredibly soft and a very portable size. He was also extremely patient during grooming (despite extreme and painful matting) and an extremely gentle soul. He navigates the world incredibly well by smell and vibration. He can tell where his foster mom and foster-dog siblings are. If can’t find you, he’ll sniff you out quickly. He loves toys and spending some time outside. He also knows how to get in and out of the dog door (which he figured out in no time at all). Mickey likes going places and meeting new people, especially in the car. He is also very fond of other dogs. Mickey is also still naughty like a puppy! He enjoys ripping up paper and could provide the perfect “dog ate my homework” excuse. Mickey is learning to play with other dogs. He has done okay with cats. He is learning to give them space (especially if they have claws!). Mickey loves to snuggle with an 11yo human child. He is learning how to be more gentle with his play style. Mickey’s foster family takes him to “puppy playgroup group” so he can play with other dogs in a safe setting. He is very smart! Mickey is being fostered in NE Denver. In his “forever home”, he is hoping for: - A safe backyard. - Confident & playful dog friend(s) - An adopter who is willing to train him. He is very busy and smart, so he needs to expend energy! Given Mickey’s the energy, we feel he needs to be in a home with a yard. An apartment will be challenging. Mickey also barks if he is crated during the day.
