John Boy is a 1 year old brindle boy with the cutest ears and white spotted chest and feet. He weighs 35 lbs right now and we think they may have Plott Hound/ Mountain Curr/ Lab/ and Cattle dog in them but it is hard to say other than that they are cute! John Boy showed up on a farm with his brother and sister and they fostered them until room opened up at the rescue. They are good around farm animals and have learned house and leash manners since being at the rescue. He is good with cats, kids and dogs. John Boy is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heart worm negative, and dewormed! His adoption fee is $250.August 18, 2024, 10:52 pm

Oliver is a 8 year old Great Dane/ Pointer mix that weighs about 70 lbs! Oliver is good with dogs and kids of all ages but is not a friend of cats! He is working hard on perfecting his sit, stay, kennel and no jumping commands as well as crate training and housebreaking! Oliver came to the rescue as a small puppy as one of a litter of 11 that was left in a box next to a mail box at only about 10 days old! While almost all of his other siblings found homes immediately Oliver was looked over. He is a big boy with lots of energy and is still waiting for his forever home! Owen is 8 year old Great Dane/ Pointer mix! He weighs about 65 lb and while he is big he is just a goof ball! He is well trained and knows sit, stay, kennel, and no jumping commands as well as being crate trained, leash trained and is HOUSEBROKEN!!! Owen is great with other dogs and kids of all ages! He is not good with cats and other small prey animals. He loves playing fetch and is great with his recall.  Owen came to the rescue after being abandoned in a box, beside a mailbox, at just 10 days old with 10 other siblings! Almost all of the puppies found homes quickly, but for some reason, this awesome boy has been passed over many times. He has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and been dewormed!! His adoption fee is $250.August 18, 2024, 10:52 pm

Story
Mack is a big handsome 4 year old Catahoula mix!  He is as sweet and loving possible but he is big, 105 lbs BIG! Mack is extremely loyal and becomes attached to the people he interacts with often. He strives when given a routine with expectations for him to follow. Mack has had training from 2 separate places and knows basic commands such as, sit, down, place, and come all with an implied stay. He is completely house broken and crate trained, once he knows the home he is able to be left out of the crate even when home alone. Mack gets along with other dogs and loves to go to daycare to play. He does great on a leash. Mack is very energetic and requires regular training, playtime, and exercise. He loves mental stimulating games and activities such as lick mats and snuffle mats. Mack can be a bit mischievous when given the opportunity. Though he is energetic, Mack will never pass up the opportunity to snuggle up with anyone and loves to take naps. Mack LOVES car rides and going anywhere with you, especially the drive thru! He was originally found running down the highway years ago when he first came to the rescue. He was adopted by a wonderful couple that loved him dearly but after the birth of their newborn have had to make the heart wrenching decision to bring him back. While he is good with older kids (5 and older) he did not do well with the newborn, even with extensive training. They also ran his DNA and we have all of his ancestry info! He is neutered, fully vaccinated, on heartworm prevention, and is microchipped! His adoption fee is $250.August 18, 2024, 10:52 pm
