Story
Meet Tater! Tater is a 47lb female Mountain Cur, estimated to be 1.5 years old. Tater has soulful eyes and is always happy and full of love. She loves everyone, including kids and her fur family. She is currently living with a family of four large dogs and has fit in perfectly! In Tater's past she had to live outside all of the time, but has taken to home life very well. She has done well so far with potty training and leash training with her foster parents - she is a fast learner! She waits for her food patiently and takes treats gently, and she does not display any issues with resource guarding. Tater will require a 6ft fully fenced and secure yard. Tater's foster parents think she will make a fantastic dog for whoever adopts her! Tater is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations - if you think Tater may be the perfect addition to your home, please fill out an application at www.istodaymydayrescue.org. Tater can't wait to meet you!

Story
Fox or “Foxy-boy” (as my kids like to call him) wants a furrrrever home! I work in clinic at CARE STL and Fox deserves someone with more time as the rescue is not the environment for him. He’s super energetic and eager to learn (very food motivated). He’s crate trained and has had minimal accidents. He’s not a barker and loves other dogs and is friendly with cats as well. He’s currently on my family’s farm in southern IL but unfortunately, he’s has a taste for my mom’s chickens and as much as I’d love for him to roam the 100 acres, my Pyrenees roams and Fox follows and I cannot risk the livestock’s safety and he’s kenneled most times Fox would do great with an active family that like to take walks or hikes. He responds to commands and stays very close by if he is off leash. He even will join me when I rollerblade occasionally! When he’s at home, he just wants to stay close and take a nap with you if you let him. Fox came with a pack of dogs to our rescue, and so during feeding time with other pets, separating other pets food bowls would be recommended. I’ve fostered him since September and I do not have the heart to bring him back to the rescue where the environment is not ideal. He’s a little over a year old and about 35-40 lbs at this point. Let’s find Foxy-boy a home!
