Meet Owen! A handsome, block headed, goofy boy who enjoys swimming, playing in the yard, and his toys. Owen is 3 years old and just under 70lbs. He is a total ham who doesn’t realize he is not a lap dog. Owen thinks he is a giant puppy (we won’t tell him he’s actually an adult). He has been described as a puppy in a full-size dogs body. &#226&#128&#139 Cats are a little too interesting to Owen, so no feline friends for this hunk. While he was great with human siblings before (ages 5 & 9), he does jump when excited. Once he’s past that though, he is just a big potato who wants a family to call his own. Hi there! I'm Ritz, and I'm here to tell you why I'm the best buddy you'll ever have. I’m about 2 years old and 62 lbs of pure sweetness. If you’re looking for a pup who makes everyone smile, then look no further! I’m sweet, happy, and just love being around people. I came from Georgia, where I was hanging out with my best friend in the shelter (see the last photo on my EHR profile page). Unfortunately, I was the only one who made it out because my buddy was euthanized due to lack of space. While I miss him dearly, I was lucky enough to avoid that same fate and I’m holding onto hope that my person (or people!) is out there, just waiting for a loveable guy like me. Here's what you should know about me: I’m super friendly and get along great with other dogs, so if you’ve got a furry friend already, I’ll fit right in. I love to play, cuddle, and just be with you wherever you are. Kids? I’m awesome with them too—I'm gentle, loving, and just the best companion. I come crate-trained and fully house-trained! My foster mom says I adore EVERYONE I meet (I mean, who wouldn’t want to be my friend, right?). I’m just an all-around great dog. I do feel a little anxious when I’m left alone though, so having another dog to hang out with would make me feel even more secure. I love playing with toys, can entertain you with my goofy antics, and am eager to please. This girl was found as a stray and her owners refused to come pick her up so she is in search of another home. She is a sweet lady, a bit shy, but friendly. She is out of any puppy energy phase but does still like to play and she does get the zoomies. She was house-trained so would need to relearn it. She does well in a car and is okay on a leash. She does not get along with smaller dogs and probably not a fan of cats. She will need time to warm up to a person but is just a sweetheart when she knows you! She would be wonderful as a walking companion and lounge buddy. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
