Hi there! I'm Ritz, and I'm here to tell you why I'm the best buddy you'll ever have. I’m about 2 years old and 62 lbs of pure sweetness. If you’re looking for a pup who makes everyone smile, then look no further! I’m sweet, happy, and just love being around people. I came from Georgia, where I was hanging out with my best friend in the shelter (see the last photo on my EHR profile page). Unfortunately, I was the only one who made it out because my buddy was euthanized due to lack of space. While I miss him dearly, I was lucky enough to avoid that same fate and I’m holding onto hope that my person (or people!) is out there, just waiting for a loveable guy like me. Here's what you should know about me: I’m super friendly and get along great with other dogs, so if you’ve got a furry friend already, I’ll fit right in. I love to play, cuddle, and just be with you wherever you are. Kids? I’m awesome with them too—I'm gentle, loving, and just the best companion. I come crate-trained and fully house-trained! My foster mom says I adore EVERYONE I meet (I mean, who wouldn’t want to be my friend, right?). I’m just an all-around great dog. I do feel a little anxious when I’m left alone though, so having another dog to hang out with would make me feel even more secure. I love playing with toys, can entertain you with my goofy antics, and am eager to please. I’m neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, which means I’m all set to start my new adventure with you. My adoption fee is $415. Meet Owen! A handsome, block headed, goofy boy who enjoys swimming, playing in the yard, and his toys. Owen is 3 years old and just under 70lbs. He is a total ham who doesn’t realize he is not a lap dog. Owen thinks he is a giant puppy (we won’t tell him he’s actually an adult). He has been described as a puppy in a full-size dogs body. &#226&#128&#139 Cats are a little too interesting to Owen, so no feline friends for this hunk. While he was great with human siblings before (ages 5 & 9), he does jump when excited. Once he’s past that though, he is just a big potato who wants a family to call his own. Scout is a 3 - 4 year-old, 52 lb mixed breed with a happy-go-lucky personality! He’s super friendly, playful, and great with both people and dogs. He has been around kids as young as 5 and did great with them. Scout has also met cats and was non-aggressive, though he has never lived with one directly. His foster says there are two words to describe him: GOOD BOY! He’s a sweet patient listener, is crate trained, likes long walks & hikes but is content with whatever walk you have time for. This girl was found as a stray and her owners refused to come pick her up so she is in search of another home. She is a sweet lady, a bit shy, but friendly. She is out of any puppy energy phase but does still like to play and she does get the zoomies. She was house-trained so would need to relearn it. She does well in a car and is okay on a leash. She does not get along with smaller dogs and probably not a fan of cats. She will need time to warm up to a person but is just a sweetheart when she knows you! She would be wonderful as a walking companion and lounge buddy. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
