Story
Max was adopted from the Wake County Animal Center when he was four months old, he is now almost three years old and a great dog. We are looking for a home for Max that can offer him activities throughout the day where his mind and body can be constantly and consistently active and engaged. A family that will take him on daily walks and engage in fun play, yet keep him reminded of the boundaries that are in place for him. Max is a very energetic, charismatic, and demanding doggo. Yet he can slow and be a calm companion with reminders that are firm and direct. He is a smart dog and will keep you engaged.

Story
Max is very energetic and happy, always ready for a walk and play. He will be three on or around June 11th and can learn many new things on top of his training he's already had and gone through. He looks forward to spending time with people and other dogs as he has been in doggy daycare. He listens and responds well to many commands, as he is very willing to please and do as he is asked. Max is loyal to the people he is with and is looking for a home where he can be active and play and not become bored.

Story
I've had Winston since he was a puppy and he's always been a great, loyal, companion. Unfortunately he's shown aggressive behavior towards our toddler, and with our 2nd child on the way we've made the incredibly difficult decision to try and find a new home for Winston where he can be prioritized and loved fully. He's very sweet and loving towards adults and older kids/teenagers. He's really low maintenance and is happy hanging around the house or out in the backyard when the weather is nice. He's fully house-broken, crate-trained, and up to date on all vaccines. I'd love to chat and give all the details about about Winston to anyone that's interested so please reach out. Thank you.

Story
Hey there, I’m Drake— and I`m ready to spill the kibble on why you need me in your life.First things first, a few things my past owner told the staff about me: I’ve got the whole potty training thing down pat (no accidents here, thank you very much). I’m also a total gentleman in the car—windows down, ears flapping, living my best life. Oh, and I’ve mastered the art of crate life like a pro. Now, I’ll be honest—I’ve got a bit of a chatty side. I just like to share my thoughts, you know? Whether I’m giving you my opinion on the weather or reminding you it’s dinner time, you’ll always know what’s on my mind. I arrived at Burlington Animal Services in mid-February, and while I’m still a bit of a mystery when it comes to my preferences, one thing is crystal clear: I’m very easy on the eyes. Seriously, have you seen my handsome face? If you’re looking for a dashing, charming, and expressive companion, come meet me. I’ve got a lot of love—and probably a lot to say—just waiting for you.

Story
Hi, I’m Pumpkin! I may be a little shy at first, but give me a chance and you’ll see my sweet and gentle side. I arrived here in early March, and while I’m still adjusting, I’m starting to find my footing. I can be a bit skittish in my kennel—it’s not really my comfort zone. But once I’m outside, I can breathe easy. That’s when I let my guard down and show my more relaxed, playful side.I’m not too interested in toys or treats, but I do love to run. Something tells me I’d make a great walking buddy—I just haven’t had the chance to try it yet. I’m small and compact, the perfect size for someone looking for a petite companion with a big heart.I may be a little uncertain right now, but with a patient and kind person by my side, I know I’ll blossom. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who’s ready to find her confidence, I’d love to meet you.
