My parents have a farm in Phelan. Months ago, they found that 2 dogs (male and female siblings) were dropped off. My parents love animals and did their best to care for them, including getting them their first set of shots, as well as getting them spayed and neutered. They are incredibly sweet and still younger than 2 years old, although they are quite large. My parents work full time both on and off the farm. Unfortunately, their busy schedules means little time for the rescues. They have tried everything to keep them safe, including building a designated fenced area for them, but they escape to unsafe areas. We are heart broken to let them go, but it’s very important we find them someone who can show them the love they deserve. Louie is the male, mostly black with some white. He’s large, but so incredibly sweet. Lucy is the smaller one with more white. She’s more timid but very sweet. Would love to rehome together as she’s attached to her brother. They cuddle up as soon as you pet.

She's a wonderful dog. Unfortunately my daughter is allergic and exacerbates her asthma. She is an active dog. I play fetch with her twice a day, her favorite activity. She's good on a leash. She doesn't pull or get distracted by other people or animals. Generally a quiet dog. Not much of a barker. Gets along well with other dogs of similar size and disposition. She's an outside dog now but was an inside dog before. No problems with pooping or peeing inside the home. No destructive tendencies outside or inside the house either. She eats well. She's ok with regular dry kibble. Enjoys milk bones too. She's very athletic and can jump over low fences. She's crate trained as well. No problems pooping or peeing in a crate when she's in there. She's afraid of fireworks or loud popping noises. On occasion afraid of thunder as well. No known allergies to medications or other things. We've had her for 6 years and has been a great companion. She deserves another chance at a good home

Story
Luna is an 2 year old Lab/Terrier Mix. She is energetic, sweet, and loves to be around people. She loves to go for long walks and be outside to play/run. She is a little shy but warms up quickly. She is trained in basic obedience but she does require more training. On walks, she does pull and gets distracted when she spots little things running around. When meeting new dogs, she is shy and has her guard up. She has no issue staying at a dog daycare or boarding. She does have slight separation anxiety, she follows you around everywhere and barks when you leave. Luna is a good dog and has the potential to be a great dog with patient experienced owners and a behavioral dog trainer. I hope the next chapter for Luna is great, she deserves the best in the world.
