Story
Daisy is a loyal, gentle spirit, and loves attention but can be protective w certain strangers entering her territory. She only needs a few warming moments to learn she is safe with newcomers before becoming everyone’s best friend. We adopted Daisy when she was a year old in 2017. She was very timid and shy. She rarely barks except when trespassers come on or near our property. I find this to be comforting, and she has been a wonderful companion for the last 7 years. In the last year she has developed lupus, and needs pills every day to keep it at bay. Unfortunately with my kids leaving the nest and extensive travel plans, I am unable to give her the care and attention she deserves. I feel very sad about this and have worked to find suitable caregivers when I am away but it has become extremely challenging. Her best option is to find a loving home with someone who can make her a more integral part of their lives - 2 or more walks a day, playtime, and lots of affection.

Story
Re and Ra are siblings. I got them at 4 weeks old when their mom stopped nursing them. They were bottle fed for a few weeks. They are super affectionate and love to cuddle. They like to sleep under blankets. I have kids and 2 cats and they do well with both kids and cats. I did get them a week before Covid hit so they did not have a chance to socialize like they needed so they need a little extra time to get them to be social. They are house trained and kennel trained. They have to be adopted together no exceptions.

Story
While it breaks our hearts to consider rehoming our one year old puppy, we hope to find a better situation for her. We rescued her at 11 weeks and she is the sweetest, most gentle dog with people & our toddlers. She is loving, obedient, quick to learn commands & so tolerant of an environment with our young boys. Unfortunately, we live in a neighborhood with 400+ homes and lots of surrounding dogs. While she's as gentle as can be with people, she can react aggressively towards other dogs. Ideally, we'd love to find a person or family who can provide her with space & ability to exercise where she'll have a higher quality of life. Everyone she comes in contact with immediately loves her as much as we do!

Story
Lu has been a wonderful companion and it hurts me to let her go. But I have been experiencing unstable housing and want her to have a good and stable place to live. She is so sweet, people-oriented, and is great with kids as long as they are not too rough with her. She loves nothing more than to cuddle. She is happy to go for walks but overheats quickly. She is very calm, well-behaved, and typically only barks to let you know she wants to be let in. Lu does okay with other dogs but can get overstimulated and agitated by high-energy pups, therefore she does best in a single-dog home. She is in good health and doesn't require any medications though I give her a joint supplement treat each morning as recommended by a vet. I would love more than anything if Lu ended up with someone who was willing to have me come visit her from time to time. Ultimately though, I want to be sure that Lu ends up in a supportive and stable home.

Story
Ollie is a 4 year old rescue dog from Pawsitive Restorations. He is both active and cuddly. He likes to chew bones and play with toys. He is very smart and is very aware of human emotions around him. He has lived with a female smaller dog and a child his whole life. His favorite thing in summer is to chase the hose water. Hoping to find a home where they have time to better train to utilize his smart instincts and invest the time in playing with him. He has always had a yard and needs room to run and explore. He is very curious and wants to check everything out.

Aela is a very loving and happy dog. She loves people! She is a very high energy, athletic and smart dog. She loves to play fetch. She is really good at frisbee. She loves to swim and to hike. She enjoys puzzles. She needs lots of mental stimulation or she gets bored and clingy. She has some reactivity issues. She is an alert barker and barks when she is triggered by something she is nervous about. She has some aggression when she is overstimulated; rough play and nipping. She has a big bark, so she can sound intimidating. She has had basic training. She is treat motivated and enjoys training sessions. She responds best to strong alpha energy. She struggles with apartment living. She is crate trained. She has never had an accident in the home. She would do best in a home with a yard and room to run. She needs lots of exercise! She does well at doggy daycare and at the vet.
