Story
I adopted my boy from the humane society 3 years ago. He is 4 years old. I unfortunately can no longer house him. He is incredibly cuddly and loving, literally the sweetest boy I have ever met. He loves to run, hike, and explore. He’s very active but also extremely willing to lay by your side in bed all day. The best adventure buddy and emotional support all in one. Great with all people and kids. NOT TOO GREAT WITH CATS. Just want him to have a loving home. He comes with an XL crate, his left over food to either transition to a new food or rebuy, a harness and leash, and his handsome self.

Story
He's a really good boy. Potty trained and rings bells to let you know he has to potty. He’ll be very nervous at first but once he’s settled in he’s a good listener. I’m moving to a house with no yard and he NEEDS A FENCED YARD. He’s very playful and loves destroying his toys. He doesn’t destroy or bite anything else. Loves to play tug of war.

Story
Scruffy was rescued about 10 years ago. He has lived a good life with us; however, my husband has recently become disabled and we have 3 dogs. Since Scruffy is older and sometimes more frightful than the other two. Mainly, he does not like to cross narrow hallways or go in basements. I am finding it difficult to provide enough attention to him. The other two dogs are more independent and require less attention. I want Scruffy to go to a home that can give him all the pets and attention he deserves. He has had no health issues to date and can show the vet records to prove that. He is more puppy than my other two dogs who are younger, but does prefer a lot more attention from his human counter parts.

Story
Scooter is from Texas and is 8. I inherited her after a family member passed away and that family member additionally had inherited her (just 6 months prior) after a death. I believe that she had previously been physically abused and neglected as she was aggressive when she came to live in our home. I’ve seen tremendous growth from her in the 18 months that she has been part of our family. She is still skittish around strangers, especially men. She can and has been calm and accepting of cats and small dogs, with some gradual exposure. She is still trainable and willing to learn! We have taught her to sit, stay, and be house trained. She has experience on a leash and does okay. My family is going through financial and housing hardships. We have been living in an RV for 6 months and Scooter needs more space and care than we can provide. She needs a seasoned and patient new owner but can make an amazing new best friend!

Story
Orla is a smart, medium level energy, food motivated, adorable, 10month old puppy. She loves other dogs, does great in a variety of environments, and has a kind temperament. She loves playing games that involve thinking and problem solving for treats. She loves people and kids. She is quick to learn any new trick you throw at her. She wants to please you (and also get a treat). She's great on the leash. She is 45lbs. Upon adoption, you'll receive her 20+ toys, water bowl & mat, all of her treats ($100+), her shampoos, crate, and the food she has left, leads, harness, etc! She is 60% mutt and 40% pitt. She came to me house-trained and with manners. She has a host of commands and is always eager to make you happy. Slowly working on crate training. She would do best with any size family who can give her two 30-40 minute walks/outside time, plus indoor play time! She doesn't bark at things or people either! Such an easy dog with no behavioral issues. Unknown about cats!

Story
We adopted sweet Alfie from a reputatable animal rescue called Halfway Home in Costa Rica. He was 6 weeks old when we adopted him. We moved him back to the US and hoped he would be our family dog for a long time. However, we have three young kids and while he is fine with them, he seems like a dog that would do better with a family without children. He can be a bit skittish and protective of his bones and toys. With enough exercise and training these behaviors can absolutely be managed but we just can’t commit to that with three young kids. He is super sweet, loving, cuddly, active, playful and great at fetch. We love him so much and hope he can find an owner who can give him the focus and training he deserves.
