Story
Liam is the perfect cuddle buddy! All he really wants to do is lay around and get pets. He is older so he doesn't have a lot of energy but he does enjoy short walks. I adopted Liam in 2019 and they didn't know his exact age but I'm guessing he is about 8-10 years old. He doesn't need much besides love and cuddles. The reason we are rehoming Liam is because he has really bad separation anxiety. Unfortunately with our busy schedule, Liam will have to be home everyday by himself for a long period of time. The ideal home for Liam would be with someone who is home majority of the time and looking for a companion to hangout with. He recently started anxiety medication and that seems to be helping, but we still feel bad leaving him home by himself all the time. He doesn't like loud noises and would do best in a home without other animals. All he really wants is human contact and to know that you are there with him! This is a really hard decision for us but we know it's best for Liam.

Story
I was diagnosed with cancer (again) early in 2024. I've been trying to keep up with my life but it gets harder and harder as treatment continues. At this point, I can't handle my dog any more. He's a pretty good boy, but he's 105 pounds and has accidentally (and unintentionally) knocked me down 3 times in the last few months because my balance is off. My treatment will be continuing for months, and I think he needs better than I can do for him now. He's great with other dogs - but he has food issues so he needs his own food bowl. He's got a medium-level allergy to chicken in his food, so he has to have a very low amount in his food. He's OK with cats if they are confident with him, but if the cat is nervous, he tends to chase them (he's never caught one, though). He's not very familiar with kids, but he does love anybody who will throw his ball for him. Which is yet another thing I can't do any more. All his stuff can go with him - food, dishes, toys, kennel, beds.

Story
Joey is an incredible dog. He's very sweet, patient, and loving. He's had a tremble since I got him back in 2016, which is actually really cute and endearing. He shakes when he's happy and excited, and it does become more intense when he's nervous. He gets anxious when it rains/storms, for fireworks, and other loud noises. I've had him for 8 years -- he's very easy to take care of but does better in a home with 2 parents as that is what he is used to. I went through a big split about 10 months back and have been experiencing some pretty intense pet-owner guilt as I don't have the time or patience to take care of him on my own anymore. He truly deserves the best life (ideally with a yard and another dog!) and I'm not confident that I'm giving that to him. This was a difficult decision for me to make, but knowing that there is someone out there who will give Joey everything he deserves makes it a little easier. Ideally, you would be open to me seeing him once in a while if we are close

We adopted Rizzo almost 5 years ago from a shelter. He is a very sweet dog, but does not get along with other dogs. He has extreme noise phobia and becomes very destructive during thunderstorms. I have tried everything to try and resolve this problem. My husband and I took care of him and someone was always home so he was never left alone, besides the noise, he is a very sweet dog and very loving. He loves children. My husband sadly passed away in May and it has been very difficult for me to take care of him on my own. I feel like he needs a home with children or at least more than one person at home because now he is left alone a lot due to my work schedule , I also have my own health problems which I feel not fair to the dog has been a very tough decision to find him a new home but one I must do

Chase is about to be 3, he is a high energy dog and unfortunately I just don’t have the time for him as I am away for 11 hours plus a day. I think he would benefit from a much larger yard as well. He is one of the happiest dogs I know, always smiling, but I am doing a disservice to him not having enough time in the day for him. He needs a fenced in yard. He’s great with other animals. He’s been raised with a 10lb Chihuahua Westie mix.
