Story
It breaks our hearts to post this but we are looking for a loving forever home for our sweet dog Zeus. We had a baby in this past year and unfortunately despite our best efforts Zeus has not adjusted well to the baby, especially now that they are on the move. He is a loving and sweet dog but is afraid of small children leading him to be reactive. At the perfect age of 7, he is a very low maintenance dog. He loves long walks or hikes and is very athletic, while simultaneously happy to sleep in his bed all day. He is goofy and loves playing with all of his toys. He is healthy, UTD on all his shots and very well trained. He would be the perfect addition to a child free home or at least one with older children.

Story
This sweet girl was born around January and was the half sister of our previous dog. She's beautiful, very affectionate and very high energy. She licks a lot and chews through toys. She likes to sleep in bed with someone but also will lay in her bed. I don't know the breed, she's mixed but is very beautiful. Her eyes grab everyone's attention. We're moving out west in a few months and wanted to re-home her before she grew up too much more. She's had 2 sets of shots at the humane society and is very healthy.

Story
My husband and I are fostering a dog for friends of ours, who adopted her in South Carolina and transported her to NH. Our friends are older with some balance issues and having a young, active, strong dog was more of a danger to them than they had anticipated. In addition, Sophie needs a home with a fenced-in yard (because she loves to run) and a companion dog because she was lonely as an only dog. Although they love Sophie very much, Sophie's owners ultimately came to the conclusion that it was not a good fit for them or Sophie so they asked if we could find her another home. We are happy to keep her as long as needed but as we have four other dogs, we think it would be best if she found another home. Sophie is a great dog – 12 months old in August. Initially she is very shy with new people and even having been with us for a month, she is sometimes skittish if you move too fast. But once she's comfortable with you she loves to snuggle during her down times.

Story
Meet Ruby! Adventure buddy, yard work helper and snuggly lap dog. She is a 2 year old Arubian Cunucu weighing around 42 lbs. Ruby came to Massachusetts at 3 months old and has been in a loving home with the same owners since. Ruby is a fun, energetic girl who's always up for adventure. She is very smart and a quick learner when it comes to training and is always up to spend time outside. She is up to date medically and has gone through obedience training classes, a confidence building class and regular one-on-one training with a trainer and has done really well. Ruby is working on her confidence and takes a while to warm up to strangers, but once you're part of her 'pack' -- she is ready for a good game of chase, tug of war or cuddling. This has been a very tough decision, but her current owners now have a 1 yr old child and are hoping to find someone who is confident with nervous dogs and willing to continue to give Ruby the attention and training she deserves.
