Story
Lincoln was adopted about two years ago. He is amazing with kids! He loves to cuddle and thinks he’s a lap dog. He’s roughly 4-5 years old. He does not do well with other dogs, and due to recent changes in our life, we can not keep him and it breaks our heart. He’s a good boy, crate and potty trained.

Story
Stella is approximately six years old. She came as a puppy from the "love train" from Tennessee to our local animal shelter, where we adopted her. She is a good, sweet dog, but has a crazy appetite, sheds, and is more than I care to handle right now, as a single father raising three teenagers. She been well cared for and is current on her shots.

Story
I rescued this dog from a bad situation, she was kept in a cage for her first 6 months of life with another puppy, so she is extremely dodgy. She is okay with other dogs, however is aggressive if there is toys or food. She is territorial, would be best to be homed with someone who would only have her.

Story
First - the adoption fee will be sent to the Michigan Humane Society to help with all the animals they rescue. I have had this sweet, kiss giving girl for several months now. I got her thru a friend of a friend when her one and only owner passed and the owner's family could not keep the dog. They thought she was about 8 or 9 years old. She was raised with an invisible fencing system. I do not have one. I do not have a fenced in yard. I take her on walks during the day. I am a Senior citizen and I am not steady on my feet and I have poor balance. She has pulled me down once and I am afraid of it happening again. She is so sweet and loves to sit next to you and cuddle. She does not realize her strength. She would do great with a house full of kids or a Senior with a fenced yard. She should be in a cat free household. She loves to play fetch and actually brings the ball back & gives it to you! Please help me find a good home for this sweet girl

Story
Unfortunately, I am stuck in a position where I need to rehome my loving pup Sly. 2.5years old sm/med sized mixed breed. Loving & loyal, friendly, full of energy, great personality, smart, crate trained, no health problems however will need to be brought up to date on shots. He is good with kids, cats and dogs (I recommend introducing other dogs slowly; it took him a week to get along with my friends & parents pets - now loves playing and laying with them). Although he LOVES playing outside, he is definitely not an outside all-day dog. He gets cold fast so he goes outside to potty and right back in if you do not stay with him. He is also more of a Velcro dog example; he will run around and play with no leash in open yards but as soon as you call his name will come rushing back to you. Can be a little protective but does not bite but will just bark at a stranger. I would never rehome him if I have to but I know it is for the best as long as he goes to a pet loving environment

Story
Hi. My name is Lily and am an eight-year-old mixed breed female dog. My loving owner who rescued me recently passed away, so I am looking for a new person to share cuddles with. I am used to living in a one/two-person home with no children or other animals and don’t need a large yard to be happy. I have a mellow personality and just want to love and be loved. I like walks and playing with my toys, along with napping in my bed and snuggling with my person on the couch. I can’t wait to meet my next best friend!
