Duchess is an incredibly loving dog that showed up on my porch during a thunderstorm while I was in college. I didnt have the heart to turn her away so shes become my buddy over the past 6 years. She is energetic, playful, and always in the mood for a good snuggle. When shes in the mood for loving she will walk up and put her nose in between your legs and it has to be one of the most adorable things ive seen a dog do. Shes is full of life and would make a great companion for either an active or sedentary lifestyle as she is capable of going on walks for hours or just lounging around the house

Story
Mabel is just over a year old and is very sweet. She loves to play, spend time outside, and splash around in shallow pools. She is well behaved in public and around other dogs. We need to re-home her because she did not get along with our grumpy old Chihuahua and she is a little too playful for our cats. Mabel would be a great fit in a house with larger dogs that like to play. Mabel would also be a good fit as an only pet. She’s great at entertaining herself outside and when inside she loves to snuggle on the couch. Mabel is a good dog and we’re very sad she is not fitting in with our smaller pets.

Dog was rescued as a puppy. I've had her for three years. The reason I need to re-home her is because of her high-energy. She either needs to be on a farm with room to run, live with kids who can play with her or someone who is a runner and would like the company. She is a sweet girl.

My Mom has 2 dogs that are part Blue Heeler. Sugar is the Mama dog and Lexie is her daughter. Mom has raised both of them since they were born. Unfortunately, due to being 92 years old, she has had to move to Assisted living. She has tried to find a home for them with no luck. Sugar and Lexie have lived together outside on 80 acres their entire life. They are very good with children! They are great at keeping coyotes away and will alert you if they see a snake. They need to go together to a home in the country with land where they can run and play.

Meet Tango! Tango is about 10 months old and weighs just under 9 pounds, and she kind of looks like a chiweenie to us! Tango is a sweet as they come and as you can see from her pictures, is always happy! Just look at that smile! Tango has done wonderful with all doggy and human friends alike and loves all that life has to offer. Tango is crate trained and does really well with going potty outside as ling as she is kept on a good schedule. Tango would love to join your home and run and play with you, then snuggle on your lap for all the love you can give! Interested in becoming a forever home for Tago? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application. If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
