Story
My family and I adopted Beau from Austin Animal Center 2 years ago. He is a 3 year old mixed breed, resembling a lab, who loves walks, hanging out in the sun, and cuddling on the couch. He had been getting along great with our other dog, a mini-Aussie, before we introduced 2 kittens into the home. Beau had gotten on well with our old cat who passed last year, but the energy of 2 kittens and a 7 year old human in our small house has proven to be too much for him. We want the best for our dog, Beau, and after much careful deliberation have decided to seek out the quiet home that he deserves where he is the main attraction. He is fully housebroken, crate trained, and he knows a few tricks: sit, down, sit up, stand up, spin, shake, and touch (place). He does great with people when he is out and about, and he loves going to the pet store to try out beds and sniff the shelves. He's a good boy who needs a calmer environment to shine.

Story
Merce, short for Mercedes is a loving girl who has been with me since a puppy. She is housebroken and absolutely adores being around people. She loves walks and chilling at home in equal measures. She often gets zoomies and loves to run around the house. The only issue is she does not get along with other animals, cats or dogs and needs to be the only animal in a household. It is killing me to give her up but I have to move and she cannot come with me.

Story
Scout is a big sweet boy, he is great with children and other dogs. He is a bit skeptical of cats and probably more curious of them than he should be but I imagine would get used to them overtime! He is good on a leash and we have not had any aggression issues with him. Scout believes himself to be a lifeguard. If you own a pool I do not suggest you adopt Scout. If you jump into the pool and your head goes under Scout and all of his 90lbs will jump in, in a panic, and attempt to rescue you. Scout also loves food. I would suggest you have a pantry door that closes well or put up a baby gate so he cannot access the food. Scout is 5.5 years old, he was rescued through Austin Pets Alive when he was a puppy. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Simple $25 rehoming fee and will happily pass on all his toys and food. If you want to give him a try, I’d be ha

I adopted Commander thinking he was a small dog, but her kept growing. He is high energy and needs a yard to run and play. I'm a senior and live in an apartment. Commander is up to date on all shots, graduated from puppy class at Petsmart, has been on 6 airplane rides and was being trained to be a service animal. He's super loving and has separation anxiety, he's highly motivated by treats is housebroken. He's very social, gets along with cats, dogs, and children. He has allergies and takes one Zyrtec a day. He's a cuddler and well loved.

Story
We are sadly looking for a forever home for our wonderful dog Lily. We fostered her at just a couple months old to save her from a kill shelter and quickly made the decision to adopt her a few weeks later in 2022. Unfortunately, our toddler who was born after her adoption has developed a very significant dog allergy and breaks out in hives every time they play together. It is just not fair to either of them to have to keep them apart to prevent his allergic reactions which are getting worse. Lily is incredibly kind and loving. She will lay on your lap for hours if you let her. She does not have a mean bone in her body. She is quite timid around new people and will retreat to her crate which she loves, but she then warms up over time. Lily loves children and other dogs and is a total goofball. She went through a 2-week boarding training program at 6 months old and is pretty good with simple commands like sit, stay, place etc. We are hopeful that we can find an amazing home for her.

Story
this profile is for two dogs max and lila. they have been together for about 8 years. they love eachother but do not typically like other dogs. they are okay with cats. the owner is struggling with bipolar disorder and can not properly care for them at this time. they are very quiet and relaxed dogs, very low maintenance. they are happy to lay around and hang out with you all day or they can be left alone to hangout by themselves. they do not like being caged up they would prefer access to a large space together. On walks they need to be on a leash.
