Story
We adopted Levi through Puppy Rescue Mission (PRM) from Romania. He is just over a year old. He loves to cuddle and loves kids. He loves chew toys but make sure they are tough because he will destroy them quickly. He is kennel/crate trained. He can be shy around new people but does well once he gets to know you. He can do well with other dogs but we don’t know the particular dogs he does well with. He gets along with our oldest dog but does not get along with our other dog. We would prefer him to go to a single pet home just to avoid any possible issues or we would recommend slowly introducing him to your pet.

Story
Kobe is a 8 year old hound/lab mix. He has bouts of energy and laziness and loves to cuddle closely. He is leash trained and knows all basic commands (sit, lay, stay/wait, come). He is not crate trained. He can and will jump a 4 foot fence so he will need a yard with a 6 foot fence OR daily walks to get his energy out. He is very food motivated, intelligent and easy to train.

Ellie is THE PERFECT DOG for a person or couple that wants a loving companion. She is a smart, sweet, and lovable dog weighing under 20 pounds. She has a black and tan coat, was born on December 12, 2016, and has the cutest overbite you’ve ever seen. Previously the constant companion of the owner's partner, who has passed away, Ellie now needs a new home because she doesn't get along with the owner's Chihuahua. Currently staying with a dog sitter in King William, Ellie gets along well with the sitter's family and their two German shepherds. Ellie uses K9 Advantix II, and Heartguard, is allergic to corn and peas and loves loves chicken and jerky treats. She is very affectionate and is a great companion. If interested, please consider giving Ellie a loving home

Story
Strider is an amazing pup. He loves to play play play and is game for anything outside. At 16 weeks old, he was found on the side of the road alone and scared. We took him in to give him a second chance. He is now approximately 18 months old and we cannot accommodate for his needs unfortunately. Our schedule is now extremely busy and we want to do right by him. He is very high energy and needs to be worked / stimulated often. He is in no way aggressive towards children, but is a dork and will bump into them.

Story
Sweet Potato is sweet, silly, 30lb, 9 y/o, and long bodied. We acquired her from the Richmond SPCA, but she does not get along with our other dog. She will flourish as the only dog in the home, has not been tested with cats, & would prefer a home with older children (10+ y/o). She enjoys lounging around the house, cuddling, & sunbathing. She prefers to stay home & therefore does not require much exercise outside. She does well with being crated when on a consistent schedule & can be left alone outside the crate in the home without being destructive & can use a pee pad. She needs to have her anal glands expressed monthly & does not enjoy having her nails cut, but often chews them herself. She does skip when walking long distances, but is not in pain and may need further evaluation as she ages. She takes a while to warm up to large men.
