Story
A few things about Sunu - He's a lap dog, and LOVES to cuddle. He's been my constant companion the past four years and nothing is better than this big lap dog snuggling up to you. We think he's a pitbull, grey hound mix with probably a few other things - but he's got a big head and a silly tiny waist. He's great with older kids and teenagers - anyone who can play fetch and love. I've never seen him so much as growl at anyone but our toddler and with a second baby we're concerned on managing his behavior. He's really attached to people, and likely can get a bit jealous (hence some of the tension with adapting to new baby). He's great with our older dog, but probably no good with cats (just based on neighborhood cat sightings). We have hopes we can find a great fit for him to go to here because he's a wonderful dog with a lot of love to give.

Story
Koda was in a shelter in NC, and they were out of room. We drove down to pick him up and give him another chance after he was abandoned by his previous owner. He was scared at first (he has been with us since January), but he has put down most of his defenses. He is partial to males and has become a big teddy bear - loves to play and be pet. His previous owner was female, so he is slower to warm up to women. We have small children in the home, and he has never shown any issues with them. However, the interaction has been mainly limited to petting through the fence. One area he is still working on is some remaining food focus behavior. He has grumbled a few times when being fed by women, and he starts eating very quickly. Because of this, we hope he goes to a home without small children and/or an experienced dog owner. Ideally he should have a fenced yard - he is around 2 and active. We are very glad he has a second chance, but our home is not setup for him to stay.
