Story
OH MICKEY, YOU'RE (still) SO FINE! You have a second chance at this sweet floof. Once a stray with urine-stained feet, Mickey has a new name, a new haircut and a new outlook on life. Who can resist this darling face with an even sweeter personality?! This Newfoundland is likely a year or younger and at 68-ish pounds may still have more growing to do. He's friendly, good-natured and well-behaved. He may still have a little work to do with potty training, but he's been doing well here! Remember that even 100% trained dogs will need to be shown where to go and what to do at a new home, and given time to acclimate. Mickey is friendly with other dogs, but may get a little excited to play with them, do he'd like a meet and greet with any potential siblings. He doesn't seem to care much about cats, but if they were to run, he may see it as a game and want to chase them! Proper introductions will be key as always. Mickey is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Apply to adopt your new best friend at www.secondchanceas.org/adopt or at the sanctuary any time we're open. Call 570-376-3646 or email secondchanceas@yahoo.com with any questions. >> PA kennel license #04944

Story
Are you a person with a dog who needs a little brother? Do you have some land or a regular walking hobby? Gus is Your Guy! Gus is an energetic 14 month old dog with a ton of heart and a deep love of being a part of a pack. He was adopted from an unexpected litter. Our family loves Gus very much but he does not do well alone and can get destructive when bored. Our house will not accommodate another dog but Gus wants to be with another dog. He can be around cats that are used to dogs but he plays chase and our cats Hate it.
