Story
My family originally saved Ammo from being euthanized at a pound he was dropped off at after his original owners gave him up due to him being bigger than they anticipated. He has lived with us for the past 6 years and is great with kids. My son was a baby when we first got him and Ammo loved laying with him and playing with him outside as he got older. Ammo loves short walks and loves to be loved on; He will be your best couch mate! Ammo does not do well with cats. He has some dog aggression so it would be best if he was in an only pet household but is incredibly sweet and all of his great features will flourish in the right home. Please feel free to reach out to me should you have any questions!

Story
Prada is a Border Newfie. She wandered up our driveway as an 8 week old puppy. She had parvo. We nursed her back to health. She is the sweetest dog I have ever had the privilege of keeping. She loves all animals and thinks any baby is hers. She wouldn't hurt a fly. She is the epitome of a gentle giant. She is now 2 and 1/2 yrs old.

Story
Hi! My name is Ranger. I am a neutered male 4 month old Anatolian/shepherd mix that weighs approx. 35 Lbs. I was surrendered to the shelter due to my family becoming allergic to me. So now I am looking for my new furever family. I am a puppy and will need a family that will give me the attention, patience and training I will need to grow up to be the perfect canine companion. I walk well on a leash and do great in my kennel! I have made a few friends but a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along if there is another dog in the home. I am very photogenic and love to socialize with people! I am an all around fun loving boy who loves to play. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccine, 1st round of dewormer and 1st round of puppy boosters. I do require an approved online application to be met with as well as to be adopted. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit your online application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. December 30, 2024, 5:11 pm

Story
Hello. My name is Vaughn. I am a 2 year old, female, Great Pyr mix. I was recently surrendered by my owners as they could not continue to take care of me. So now, I am looking for my new furever home. I am 90lbs of pure love to give and am looking for a home to match my playful energy. Being the breed that I am, I do shed quite a bit but it can be maintained with regular brushing. I am dog selective and have made a friend since I arrived but if you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is suggested to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccine, boosters to date and heartworm negative. If you are interested in adoption, please submit your online adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hi! I'm Joselyn! I'm an approximately 11 week old(as of 1/06/2025), female, Great Pyr mix. I am still a young girl so meet and greets will be by approved application only. I tested positive for Parvo on December 18th and have since survived the virus! I am now being treated for an upper respiratory infection. Should I be adopted during treatment, I will be sent home with the remainder of my medication. I am scheduled to return to the shelter for my spay on Wednesday, January 15th. This is a non-negotiable so plan accordingly! My adoption fee is $125 and that includes my spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, 1st dewormer, and 1st set of puppy boosters. Please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application and RAC staff will be in touch to schedule a meet and greet with approved applicants.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
