Story
Bella 6 is a full Landseer Newfoundland that has been loved and cared for since she was a puppy. She is now 9 years old and finds herself needing a forever home. She is current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and spayed. Bella 6 is in excellent health as far as we know. She has no issues getting up and down. She is just looking for a wonderful home that will give her love and attention. She is an owner surrender because the family felt they did not have time for her. She is approximately 100 pounds, which is on the small size for a Newfoundland. However, she is a female which are usually smaller than the males. If you feel that you have the room and time to give this gorgeous girl a fabulous home for her remaining years, we hope you will open your heart up for her. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Newfoundlands and the safety of your children. Our Newfoundlands are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. If you would like to visit our pups please contact St. Cloud's Rescue at www.stcloudsrescue.org or call 972-679-5319. The first step in adopting from St. Cloud's Rescue is to complete an application. The application may be found OUR WEBSITE at www.stcloudsrescue.org. Please click on the application process, complete, and then email it. Once the application has been sent, please call us to confirm that we have received it. St.Cloud's Rescue maintains the right to deny applications to anyone for any reason we see fit. St. Cloud Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one-year supply of heart worm preventative from us, which is at cost. We require a home visit prior to all placements. All our dogs must be microchipped at a cost of $20.00. There is a $500.00 donation fee. All dogs adopted through St Clouds Rescue must be indoors. Newfoundlands cannot tolerate the Texas heat.

Ammo

Newfoundland Labrador Retriever

Male, Adult
Hurst, TX
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
My family originally saved Ammo from being euthanized at a pound he was dropped off at after his original owners gave him up due to him being bigger than they anticipated. He has lived with us for the past 6 years and is great with kids. My son was a baby when we first got him and Ammo loved laying with him and playing with him outside as he got older. Ammo loves short walks and loves to be loved on; He will be your best couch mate! Ammo does not do well with cats. He has some dog aggression so it would be best if he was in an only pet household but is incredibly sweet and all of his great features will flourish in the right home. Please feel free to reach out to me should you have any questions!

Story
When Monty first joined the rescue, he was shy and withdrawn, often finding comfort in hiding in a corner. But with time, patience, and plenty of love, this sweet boy has made incredible strides in building his confidence! Just the other day, his foster mom took him to the dog park, where he got to show off his progress. We are so proud of him! Monty is fantastic with other dogs and would thrive in a home with another dog that likes to play. He was almost completely hairless a couple months ago, but we are seeing new hair growth everyday! Monty has been fully vetted and is ready to find his forever home! Monty is an 8 month old and a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix. If you are interested in adopting Monty, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2189369##
