URGENT! Due to a new law enacted in my country, the rescuers can't retain the refuge, so all us dogs need homes before the end of the year. Please help. Good day. The rest of my litter and my mother were seen in the vicinity, but they were frightened and ran away. I stayed by Taylor’s side for protection, so was the only puppy rescued from my family. Come to find out we are half sisters. Same momma, different daddy.We were taken to the vet clinic, where I was treated for malnutrition and basic care. Once we were stable, we were transported to our rescuers facility where we began our path to recovery.Taylor and I tend to sit on the sidelines when there are activities and games with the other shelter dogs. The boisterous, young labbies are a bit much and bully us a bit, since we are passively vulnerable yet. We have separate playtime and sleeping areas from them thankfully.I am a bit more active and playful than Taylor. Taylor sleeps on a small sofa, whils they give me a blanket to sleep on the floor, because I pull the stuffing out of dog beds and cushions. I likely do this either because I am still in my puppy stage, or it could be in reaction to the overcrowded environment at the refuge. Iimagine time in a relaxed home of my own will end up alleviating that.While a bit timid yet, I am playful with Taylor and small or older dogs, though occasionally I will nip at a smaller dog. I hardly ever bark. I too am a little wary of unfamiliar humans and dogs yet and will run away if pursued. I would do best with non intimidating dogs. I am currently in progress on leash training. I am quite the gentleman, if I do say so myself.Found by my rescuer in Autumn on the side of the street in the Middle East, I was a very small puppy. There were some nice children around, they tried bringing me some pieces of bone, and while I was hungry, I was unable to eat this yet. So, my rescuer brought me home with her.While very good with children and other dogs, I do however bark at cats. Go figure. Maybe with proper intro, I'd be ok? Might be best to bypass the feline type in my new home for now.One thing you should know about me is my special diet. They don't feed me dry food because it is not good quality here; instead, I enjoy delicious meals of chicken with vegetables. I also love to play --weather is chasing a ball, cuddling, a doll or even with stuffed animal toys. and whenever my rescuer sees me, I can but jump into her and pure joy!   You'll find I am quite smart and learn very quickly. I love toys like stuffed animals. I do have a tendency toward digging in the yard where there are other dogs. Not sure if I would do this if I was an only. I have that exuberant puppyness yet, so I imagine as I mature and yountrain me, I will chill more.I am able to jump, so should have a home with a fence. If I get plenty of exercise otherwise, in a safe enclosed area or maybe as a running/hiking partner, I could manage without a yard. No off leash work until I am bonded with good recall, as I'm still a puppy and can get excited and run. I'm a bit hesitant at first going in the car, but tend to be calm. I'm sure I will enjoy rides, once I understand more about them. I don't get much chance to go anywhere where I live.
