Story
Hello there! I'm Gino, an adorable and curious puppy looking for my furever home. As you can tell from my photo, I have a fluffy coat ready for pets I love to play hard and nap hard on repeat. Who doesn't? I'm just a baby, so be patient with me as I learn to potty outside and other basic skills that you will teach me. I'm eager to learn! I have my whole life ahead of me so think of me as your best friend for years and years to come! Come by High Country Humane to meet me! Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped however I haven't had my surgery quite yet. It is a requirement that I be neutered within 30 days of adoption at our facility. My adoption fee is $150! The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!

Story
Meet Tucker, the adorable and affectionate bundle of fur with a playful and outgoing personality! Tucker's favorite pastime is digging through the toy box to find the perfect toy for playtime. He's currently working hard on leash training and house training, showing improvement every day. One of Tucker's favorite things in the world is receiving chin rubs and belly rubs from his humans. He loves cuddling up close, enjoying the warmth and comfort of being near his family. Tucker's playful nature and love for interaction make him a joy to be around. With each day, he's growing and learning, becoming an even more cherished member of his household. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/ When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. Story
J Boy has a beautiful soft coat, typical of the Papillon breed, with distinctive markings. J Boy is incredibly sweet and gentle, though initially shy around new people. Once he warms up, he becomes playful and loves interacting with his favorite stuffed animals, especially the ones that squeak. He's a loyal companion who enjoys following his loved ones around and being close to them. J Boy is still learning to walk on a leash but is friendly with other dogs, making him a sociable pup in the right settings. Sitting on your lap, cuddling, and giving affectionate kisses are among J Boy's favorite activities. He also enjoys taking food and treats gently from your hand. Despite his initial shyness, J Boy has a playful side that comes out when he's comfortable, especially with his beloved stuffed toys. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. Story
Same or next day adoption appointments typically available!! Gorgeous girl Nelly is a loving cuddle bug, once she gets to know you. She loves belly scratches and head rubs- and she has never been one to turn down a walk. Nelly needs a special home, a patient one willing to allow Nelly to bloom into the confident girl we know she is. We believe she might of been abused in her previous home, so she requires a forever family who is going to be patient with her, she spooks easily and doesn’t love strangers right away. The true way to Nelly’s heart is through her belly, so a home willing to supply high value treats would be preffered. It could take her weeks to become comfortable in her new home, and months to bond to her new family. Being patient like that can be hard, but Nelly is worth it. While Nelly is fostered with other dogs, we think she would be happiest as the only pet in the home, no cats and no other dogs- she wants to be your number one. See less Nelly's adoption donation includes her age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, spay, microchip, collar and leash. Apply below to adopt Nelly. Fill out an application to meet this sweet pup today- https://www.westvalleyanimalrescue.com/app You can text any questions to (623) 688-1691
