Story
Dobby's past wasn't great, but we are changing his future. He is recovering from a allergic flare up & his hair is growing back. He LOVES his foster family, but his mom is his favorite! He is dog & cat friendly, but he would love to be his momma's #1 guy. He has had some poor treatment from the children in his last home so he will not go to a home where young kids are.

Story
Lucas is an absolute love bug, he loves cuddling, sitting on your lap, and being center of attention. He loves racquet balls and any type of balls, he loves stuffed animals specially the ones with the squeaker. He is leash trained and has been since he was a puppy, however, he will still bark at everything and everyone. He needs to be the ONLY dog, we do have another dog, and they get along to a point, but tends to be aggressive towards him and wants to fight. Lucas does NOT do well with small children at all. We adopted him when my children were teenagers, so he has never been around little children until my grandbaby was born. My grandbaby is now 1 1/2 yrs. old and Lucas does not do well, he gets too scared, and his behavior is unpredictable. I am not willing to put my grandbaby in harm's way nor do I want to have Lucas be constantly anxious. Lucas does not do well with strangers; he is very frightened and takes a while to warm up to them. He is afraid of fireworks and the thunder.

Story
Reason for rehoming: Our foster daughter recently moved out after having her 1st child and can no longer take care of the dog she had when she came to us. We already have a senior dog who does not enjoy other dogs, so we are unable to provide him the time and love he needs. We would love to find him a loving, stable home with a yard, as he has a lot of energy! We want to be certain that he finds a happy, loving home. We are expecting multiple meet-and-greets to ensure a good fit. We are also asking that, if he is rehomed and it isn't working out, he be returned to us rather than a shelter. We love him, we're just not the right forever home for him. He needs leash training and some minor house-breaking. He is house trained but does some marking behaviors and pees when excited/nervous. We have been working with him on some protective behaviors and barking, but he does still need more training in those areas. Does okay with other dogs, just not well-socialized.
