Story
Meet Angel's baby Jude aka Benny. He went to what we thought was his forever home and they basically ignored his every need and traumatized him by keeping him crated way too much. This baby was born June 13th 2023. He is fostered in West TN but can be transported as far north as northern CT. Benny is coming out of his shell. He is fantastic! Benny progress. In 1 week he went from being terrified to ride to looking forward to his rides. He kennels into his seat for restraints, but we haven't tried kennel into his crate again yet. If you remember, he has crate anxiety. My hopes are that associating the rides he loves into his crate time will teach him that crate time is fun time for him. Benny did the cutest thing yesterday. I wasn't getting his harness and leash on him fast enough. He attempted to jump off our bench into the harness. I might could teach him to jump through hoops with this knowledge. Benny is eager to please. Benny is available for adoption. He is fully house trained and crate trained. He is borderline high energy. Exercise and interaction is a positive for him. If you are interested in adopting, please visit funnyfarmpets.org where you can read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works and you can submit the application athttps://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog You can also see videos of the pups on our FB page at https://www.facebook.com/mcbfunnyfarmrescue/ Adoption fee is $250 which helps to cover all of the vetting and transport is an additional $200

Story
Meet Suki! She’s about 4 years old, weighs 14 pounds and looks like a Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix. She was found stray, and she’s still skittish at the rescue. She’s coming out of her shell and getting more social with people she knows, and we’ll update as we get to know her more!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.March 12, 2025, 6:56 am

Story
***BISCUIT IS LOCATED IN FOSTER CARE IN SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE*** From the foster: Hi I’m Biscuit! Im the cutest little guy and do not shed! I give the BEST kisses. With a little patience you will earn my trust and see how cool of a guy I really am! I’m pretty funny, too! I like to “talk” while I eat my meals. (I have a lot to say!!) I’m learning to play with toys but love to play with my foster siblings! (The cats are my favorite!!) I love a good snuggle and will curl right up next to you! I do well going potty outside as long as I’m brought out in time. Im learning to walk on a leash but it’s still all so new to me! I sleep through the night and don’t have accidents overnight. I’m a one-of-a-kind boy and would be so happy to be loved by you! Biscuit will stay on the smaller side (we estimate 25-35 lbs when full grown) General Information: Our B litter is ready for adoption! This sweet litter of pups are about 9-10 weeks, born around mid-November 2024. These puppies are some of the lucky ones – a good Samaritan saw a mangy, starving dog eating scrap someone threw out in a back corner of a Mexican restaurant by a dumpster. She couldn’t turn away. The good Samaritan was going to just help mom, when she realized mom looks to have just had puppies. It’s like the momma dog knew someone was there to help, and she turned away from the scrap food and started walking down the street. The good Samaritan followed this momma dog for almost 2 miles to a home, where when they walked up, 7 puppies came running out from under the house (see video!) The homeowner didn’t claim mom or puppies, nor did she want anything to do with them. She refused to feed them or offer them shelter. It took some time, but after a few days, we were able to get all 7 pups and mom to safety. Mom is about 32 lbs and has a wire-hair coat, we have named her Lainey and she will also be available for adoption soon. We do not know who dad is. We believe pups will vary in size with the 2 runts (Baby ad Belle) staying smaller than the others – but generally we believe they will stay around 40 lbs. Please keep in mind that these puppies had minimal human interaction until a few weeks ago, but they are now in their prime age for impression, training and growing in a home to learn from. They all would do wonderfully with well-behaved children, other dogs and cats. They did not chase stray cats at the home they were at and they LOVE other dogs. Here’s a breakdown of the litter and some information on each one: All weights are as of 1/19/25 Baby – Male Runt – 7.5 lbs – Black and white (tri color) – Semi wirehair and very short hair – does not seem to shed much, if at all – Very playful. Very outgoing. Fun to watch play as he is so much tinier than the other pups. Daring. First pup to try anything. Aims to please. Wants to be next to you and get lots of love and love you. All homes would be ideal, all ages of children would be great for Baby. Belle – Female Runt – 4.4 lbs – Black and White – Wirehair – Does not seem to shed – She is quite timid but friendly and does come around. Will make the best baby. She defends herself against all the other bigger pups. Fierce and won’t let anyone pick on her. Is learning to play with toys. Could be a lap dog with lots of patience. Minimal-mild active home that is patient. Beau – Male – 10.2 lbs – Brown and White – Wirehair – Does not seem to shed – Needs someone with some patience. He is a bit timid and would rather watch everyone else play before joining. He would do best with another dog in the home. Beau is learning to trust people and his surroundings. Minimal-Mild Active home that is patient. Bree – Female – 11.4 lbs – Black and White – Short hair, minimal shedding – She is a hoot to have around. She loves to talk to you and is very vocal. She doesn’t mind telling you how she feels. She’s more of a leader and she keeps all the other puppies in check and in their place. If any of them start bickering, Bree will be there to break it up. She’s not afraid to test the waters and try anything new. A bit shorter of legs and stocky build. A more active home is preferred. Biscuit – Male – 11.1 lbs – Brown and White – Wire Hair – Does not seem to shed – This lover boy is the most timid of the group of pups. The foster left him with his mom so she can help build his confidence and not be bullied by his siblings. He is very submissive. Needs a family or person that is patient, kind and understands he does need socialization and lots of love. Ideally no young children given how timid he is. Bear – Male – 11.3 lbs – Black and White – Short hair, minimal shedding – One of the most outgoing pups of the litter! He is one of the few that came around super quickly and is super lovable, huggable and amazing all around. He LOVES to be held in your arms and rocked like a baby or just carried around. He would rather be with you than anywhere else. His next favorite thing is belly rubs. He will roll over in a heartbeat to get some belly rubs and stay there until you can’t anymore. He is a very relaxed pup and doesn’t run around too much. Chill. Mildly active home and all age children would be perfect. All of these puppies will make wonderful and loyal companions. Please watch the video to see mom when she was first found, to when the good Samaritan found the house, to the puppies safe and sound and enjoying their first toys. Biscuit is neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations, preventions, dewormer, microchipped and has received a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. Story
Ginger is definitely the most sweetest little girl you’ll meet! She weighs approximately 18 lbs and is about 1 year old. She has not had an easy life. She was found roaming the streets, sleeping wherever she could, and getting chased by male dogs. Unfortunately, she didn’t even make it past her first or 2nd heat before she was pregnant. She had 3 beautiful puppies. She spent the first few weeks of their young life providing them shelter and finding food so she could feed them. It wasn’t until they were about 6 weeks when a good Samaritan found her and got her and her puppies safe. We believe the puppies were born around mid October, and they are available for adoption also! 2 females and 1 male – Minnie, Millie and Milo. Ginger is such a doll. She loves to please her people and be around people. A complete lap dog and cuddle bug. Once you start petting her, she will roll on her back to get lots of belly rubs. She doesn’t care where you pet her, as long as you do. She’s SOOO happy. Ginger loves other dogs and gets along with every dog she has met. She was a GREAT mom to her little ones too. She doesn’t mind cats at all (please see video). She completely ignores the cats inside the foster’s home and gives them no mind. She would rather be looking at her humans than anything else. Ginger is leash trained and does great on the leash. Because she has limited house experience, she is learning potty training currently, so she does need a home that understands she is not fully house trained. We do believe it won’t take long to house train her with someone who is consistent and patient. Ginger does great with all ages, children and all people. There is no person she has met she doesn’t just melt into. If you’re looking for a super friendly, very sweet, people pleasing, loyal companion, smart, gentle, lapdog doggy – please consider Ginger today. All of dogs are fixed, heart worm negative, current on vaccinations, current on dewormer, current on preventions, microchipped and given a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption.
