She embodies a unique combination of gentleness and strength, feistiness and self-assuredness. At this pivotal age, Nyssa is at a point where she can grow and flourish with the right family by her side. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact on her life!   Although Nyssa can be shy when meeting new people, she quickly warms up and builds trust with gentle encouragement. An active family will be her ideal match, as they can help her channel her energy into exciting adventures and training. Jack Russells are brilliant and thrive with proper guidance, making Nyssa a perfect partner for anyone eager to engage in training and outdoor escapades.   Remember that this breed has a strong prey drive, so it’s essential for her future home to be free of small animals or cats. We are looking for families with children over 10 years old who have experience with dogs to ensure a smooth integration.   Nyssa's stunning short coat features beautiful brown spots against a pristine white background, and her long back and medium-short legs create an endearing silhouette. Her sturdy, muscular build indicates her potential as an exceptional hunting or agility course companion. Just imagine the fun and excitement that await you with Nyssa by your side!   Currently, Nyssa is fed a human-grade dog food diet, and Rompin Paws offers educational resources on the best nutrition for our rescued dogs. Don’t miss your opportunity to welcome Nyssa into your family—she is ready to embark on countless adventures with you!     Adopting Nyssa:  Please use the link below to apply. One of our volunteers will review the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match for this pup. The next step is a meet and greet if a match can be made. Please use a computer, as tablets and cell phones will drop the application. Nyssa has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble instead of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition.  Nyssa has a $550.00 adoption fee. All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.**Meet Beau** Beau is a stunning Jack Russell-Papillon mix, affectionately known as a Papi-Jack. At 5 years old, he is a loving and loyal boy who, despite his initial shyness, quickly blossoms into a delightful companion. His joy upon seeing his human is heartwarming; he can hardly contain himself, constantly seeking love and affection. Beau is ready to give his whole heart to someone who will love him forever. Beau thrives best in a woman-only home since he is used to living in an all-female environment and does not do well with men. He needs a yard for sunbathing and potty breaks. While he prefers to have 1-2 dog friends to socialize with, he can also do well as the only dog. He requires an adult-only home, as he does not like children or grandchildren, which can frighten him and might lead to biting. This fear arises from his shyness and tendency to be startled by sudden movements or loud noises. Although he prefers women, with patience and proper socialization, he can become friendly with a man in the home if there is one. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion who wants to be by your side everywhere, is super playful, and enjoys having a buddy dog close by, Beau is your guy! He has a medium-long, soft, and silky fur coat that requires regular grooming to maintain its quality. Beau takes pride in being clean and enjoys being brushed, receiving attention, and getting hugs. He is housebroken and has learned to use a pee pad as a backup if needed. Beau is intelligent and forms a strong bond with his special person. He acts as a watchdog when you have company, so he will need a quiet place to retreat if unfamiliar guests visit. He prefers to be around only 1-2 people and becomes a lap dog, hugger, and kisser once he feels secure with his humans. He gets along well with all the small dogs he has met and enjoys playing with older lab puppies introduced to him. Due to his Jack Russell heritage, Beau has a strong prey drive and needs to live in a small, animal-free home. Therefore, no cats, mice, reptiles, or rodent-like pets are allowed. How to Adopt Beau: Please use the link below to apply. One of our volunteers will review your application, follow up with any questions, answer yours, and see if you are a good match for this pup. The next step, crucial in the adoption process, is a meet and greet if a match is made. This is your opportunity to meet Beau and see if you both connect. Please use a computer, as tablets and cell phones may cause issues with the application. Beau has transitioned to a human-grade diet, avoiding kibble in favor of a healthy, canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate his adopters on the proper diet and nutrition for him and his new buddies. To adopt Beau, there is a $495.00 adoption fee. All funds will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link and be thorough in your answers.
