Quick Facts  Name: Hodoo Age: Estimated 4–5 years Gender: Male Neutered/Sprayed: Soon (to be scheduled) Breed: Pembroke Welsh Corgi Color: White & Brown Weight: 9 kg (20 lbs) Height: 25 cm (to the shoulder) My Story Hi there, future family! My name is Hodoo, and I’m a spirited Welsh Corgi with a heart full of love and curiosity. My journey started in a shelter where time was running out, but kind rescuers gave me a second chance. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home and fill it with tail wags and endless companionship. All About Me I may seem a little shy when we first meet, but it doesn’t take long for me to open up. Share a few treats, and I’ll soon be leaning into your hand for pets and belly rubs! I’m also great at following my favorite people around—being by your side is my happiest place. My Personality & Social Skills People: I might take a moment to warm up, but I’m gentle and sweet, even when meeting new faces. I haven’t met young kids yet, but I’m open to learning with guidance. Dogs: I’m polite and easygoing with other dogs. I don’t seek out play often, but I’m calm and non-reactive, even if another pup gets a bit excited. Cats: I haven’t met cats yet, so I’m still a mystery in that area! Adventures & Walks Exploring the great outdoors is one of my favorite activities! I enjoy sniffing around and taking my time to soak in all the interesting smells. I sometimes pause to investigate or tug a little on the leash, but I’m learning to stay in sync with my human. After a good walk or play session, I love nothing more than a cozy rest by your side. Life At Home I’m a laid-back companion who enjoys quiet moments just as much as adventures. I have great manners when it comes to food—I’m happy to share and never guard my meals or treats. I’m also house-trained, adapting well to both indoor potty pads and outdoor routines. When it’s time to travel, I might need a little extra comfort, as getting into cars is still new to me. But once settled, I ride calmly. I also feel safe and secure in a kennel, where I can rest quietly. A Few Unique Traits I do have my quirks! Sometimes I startle at things moving quickly in front of me, but I’m growing more confident every day. My voice is soft, as I’ve had a vocal procedure in the past, and I rarely bark—your home will stay peaceful with me around. My Ideal Home I’m dreaming of a family who will cherish me and my gentle nature. Here’s what I hope for in my forever home: Companionship: I love being close to my people and will happily follow you around. Patience & Kindness: I’m still adjusting to the big world around me, and your guidance will help me thrive. Balanced Lifestyle: I enjoy outdoor adventures but also appreciate relaxing indoors after a fun day out. Last Message Are you ready to welcome a loyal, sweet companion into your life? I can’t wait to meet you and start this beautiful journey together. Let’s make unforgettable memories—together forever! Story
My baby girl Dolly is 7 months old. She is the sweetest dog when she is not with my older female dog. They do not get along, they are always fighting. Dolly is potty trained, leash trained, knows all the basic commands. She is super affectionate, really is the sweetest. Unfortunately, she just cannot be with my older already established dog. Dolly is spayed and up to date on all her shots and does excellent at her vet appointments. Deciding to rehome her has been the hardest decision. This has broken my heart, but this is what’s best for all involved.

These pups are in Shoreline, Washington too!

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Bronwen from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 1 year old female Corgi mix.  I weigh approximately 15 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,695 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application.
