Hi there! I'm Iris, a sweet and smart Husky pup looking for my forever home. I have tons of energy and love to play, but I also enjoy snuggling up for some quality cuddle time. I'm a quick learner and love showing off my new tricks and commands - anything to make you smile! I'm dreaming of a home where I can run and play, use my clever mind, and get all the love I can handle. If you're looking for an adventurous and loyal friend, I'm your girl!All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and heartworm tested prior to adoption. We can not guarantee that a dog will be good with children, dogs, or cats. If you currently have a dog a meet & greet will be required. To do this safely and effectively your dog will need to be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations prior to approval of a dog adoption through Boone Area Humane Society.***Adoptions are by appointment only, please fill out an application and someone will be in contact with you***All dogs are heart-worm tested, spayed/neutered, microchipped and have age appropriate vaccinations.**All animals have been spayed/neutered, have been tested for heartworm/feline leukemia, have had age appropriate vaccinations, been dewormed, is on flea and parasite prevention and has been microchipped.

Story
Jaxs is a great bud he’s 8 years old and very loving. I don’t k ow his whole story as he was rehomed to me when he was 6 and they people that had him before said that he was rehomed to them. What I can tell u is this is a very smart dog he lets me know when he’s hungry when he need to go out side and he shows u by tapping the door handle with his nose or tapping the food container with his nose I have two cats and a smaller dog and he’s gets along with them Great but I have seen some dogs not react very nice toward him I’ve never seen him be mean to anyone or any other animal he’s been great around family and friends and is the sweetest boy it breaks my heart to have to rehome him but with the type of dog he is he need a lot of attention and care and lately I haven’t been able to give that to him with have to work more I really want him to go to people that have had a gsp and could give him and great rest of his life that he deserves he’s the best boy
