I got Honey from the Humane Society. She's a really good dog, but very scared of storms. She gets along well with cats and dogs, though she does bristle when she sees dogs at first. (She's got to get her bluff in.) She goes to doggy day care and does fine. Not been around kids since I've had her, but I think she would do great. House and leash trained. Loves car rides. Loves her Kong and chewies! Loves attention, especially belly rubs! She's very mixed breed. I did her DNA with Wisdom Panel. The two breeds listed are only part of her. The vet guesses she's around 3. I'm sure I'm missing something, so please ask me if you have a question. She really is the best dog and if I had someone to help me take care of her I would keep her but I live alone. Between work and my disabilities I cannot properly take care of her anymore. She deserves better than that. All I do is work and sleep. The fee is to make sure she goes to a good home.

Have you ever read a novel that has so many twist and turns that by the time you get to the last chapter, you have NO idea who won and who is the REAL good guy?? Well, I believe my life is like that. I came from somewhere, no one really knows where, and I ended up at the pound, somehow.... So i was actually adopted as a cute puppy from the pound..... and THEN 5 months later... I was saved at a busy intersection with a badly injured back leg.... no "family" around :( SO, luckily I was saved by a RESCUER!!! I mean, what are the odds?? So my name is Artie and now I am healed up and looking for my furever REAL family. I am a great sized pup, 30# of fun and love and all kinds of playtime! I love to run and play, tug of war and keep away I excel at and the zoomies too! I am great with other dogs, and kids and am ok with cats but require a good introduction and experienced dog/cat introducer with monitoring as I may chase a kittie if it runs. So, I also have learned quite a few commands, sit, stay, crate, working on leave it. I am super smart AND MOTIVATED to help find my next best chapter. Have you seen my Eeyore?? I mean, searching all over and he seems to be hiding from me!! Tigger is the name and I do NOT bounce on my tail but honestly, my tail is LONG enough to accomodate me :) I was found with my friend, Honey, left on a country road alone and scared we were. A towel, bowl of water and some food were left for us but we were still out on a country road with NO HOPE!! So, I failed to mention that our "owner" left us on a road, less than 1 mile from the rescue............. SO, you know what happened, right?? Those rescue people saw us, as they were leaving from the rescue, and..... YOU GUESSED IT!!! They SAVED US!! We are the sweetest and nicest pair, we love our people now and no we don't have to be adopted together:) I am a happy happy guy, love to play and run and hang out and PLAY. I am a young and healthy guy, will make someone a great buddy- fun for life!! If you want a loving buddy and a happy life... ADOPT ME!!! SO MANY LIVES DEPEND ON ADOPTION!!
