Story
Fletcher is a wonderful dog who is the best hiking partner, playmate, and cuddler. He was adopted from a shelter in North Shore, MA about 4 years ago and he is almost 5 years old but is healthy as can be. He is a dog that loves his people but can be anxious meeting new people and new dogs. He loves meeting new people but can be scared if not introduced properly the first time. He is looking for a loving home without young kids or other animals in the home. I am willing to take him back as a foster if the connection isn't there after a little but just want the reassurance that he is going to a good home. I can give flea and tick, as well as heart worm medication along with food that he eats on a daily basis. If you are looking for a hiking companion who loves to play and who will give you so much love, please reach out about meeting Fletcher!

Story
We adopted Zamba when she was a puppy. She is now 10. We love her!!! My wife and I hate to let her go to another home. Unfortunately, we need to travel frequently now to visit our 4 children that are very far from us. Zamba loves company, adults, babies, and children. She is house broken. She stays in our yard without a leash. She comes to the door and barks when she wants to come in. She is up to date with vaccines. We don’t ask for a fee to have her adopted. We just want a wonderful home for her. Her “brother” passed last year. So, she will be fine with other dogs.

Meet Zoey!! Look at this beautiful girl... Zoey has had a tough start of life. She was saved by some volunteers at the shelter in Tennessee. They were called to a home, where Zoey had been abandoned and left to fend for herself. The house had been abandoned and nobody lived there any longer. She is now on a foster loving life and getting the attention she needs. Zoey is slowing learning that the world is not all bad. She is a sweet girl who loves attention. Coming out of her shell and learning to trust again. Bless her heart she is doing it. Zoey loves to play in the yard with her foster siblings and also chasing balls. She is also content chewing on her deer antlers and bully sticks. Zoey is over a gal who kind of go with the flow and energy in the house. She enjoys go for walks to explore the outdoors and see all the world has to offer. Zoey does enjoy hanging out as well with her humans and snuggling up with you by the fire. We put her as going with older kids, just because she is still learning the world is good. We just don't want wild and loud kids for to start. Zoey cannot wait to meet her forever family!!!! Story
Introducing Mandy! Our girl Mandy is an almost 2 years old spotted Catahoula/Lab mix who weighs about 40lbs. This little social butterfly is ready for her furever home. Apply to Foster-to-Adopt or Adopt Mandy here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Although Mandy is hearing and seeing impaired, that doesn’t get in her way. She is flourishing in her foster home. Her foster mom reports: “She is perfectly well behaved! She has no more crate anxiety, walks excellent on a leash and has learned some commands, sit, lay down with hand motions/touch. She is extremely social and well behaved all around. She also doesn't have any accidents in the house. Mandy loves all dogs regardless of size, age, or breed. Her ability to run with the pack despite her disabilities, plus, her ability to relax, cuddle and snuggle up to human and dog friends alike makes her an extra special companion. She even does well with children! Mandy is a true gem. As with any new animal, her adopters should be patient letting her get adapted to their home and routine. Mandy would do best in a home with another dog/dogs or someone who is home the majority of the time. Mandy has not been tested with cats. If Mandy sounds like the girl for you, please fill out an application with Broken Tail Rescue. If you are interested in finding out more about Mandy, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Mandy is being fostered in Worcester. The adoption fee is $350. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet. ____ MA Rescue License 0139
