Story
Anna is a 9 year old, 10lb adorable Chug (chihuahua/pug mix) who has endured some big human turmoil recently and ended up in a Middle Tennessee shelter. Not much is known of her history, but her underweight condition indicates at least some neglect took place. A really devoted foster mom for Critter.Cavalry Rescue noticed her profile in the shelter and realized that being a senior she might not be chosen very easily by the general public.  This young foster woman is making sure that Anna has everything she needs. She used to be timid at first and a little wary of quick movements but all that has changed and she is miss independent, confident and amazing in her whole personality turn around.  She wants to be by your side and your best snuggle buddy now. Anna has some spunk and can run up stairs as fast as any puppy. She is good with other dogs and initiates playing and loves puppies!   She is finally starting to play with toys and it's so wonderful to see her discovering that side to her personality. She used to be so serious and sad. She does well on a leash and going outside. She is potty trained and crate trained and she loves her crate as a getaway space.  We are wanting someone who works from home or is retired and nit gone long long hours daily. Meet Susie, the softest, cuddliest little love bug you'll ever find.  Susie is a small-ish mixed breed girl born at the beginning of January to a long furred Chiweenie mix mom who has found her special home and place in someone’s heart already.  Susie has beautiful coloring and a soft, luxurious coat and her estimated adult weight will be around 25-30 pounds. Susie is an outgoing girl who loves everyone and she showed how good she is in new places by participating in a recent puppy yoga class along with her brothers and several other puppies. She had a blast keeping everyone entertained and crawling up in to people’s laps to make friends and say HELLO!  We can confidently say that she loves people, other dogs, and does well in unfamiliar situations. The yoga class included men, women, children and unfamiliar puppies much larger than her. She did well with all of these new and interesting first time situations. Susie is a cuddler and will climb into your lap whenever she gets a chance.  She loves to be surrounded by toys and will bring her favorites into the bed with her. Is there anything about Susie that is not perfect?  Well, she does like to play in her water dish and splash out all the water. She would probably love a little kiddie pool to play in! This gorgeous munchkin is a nugget of cuteness and is called Rollo, a small-ish mixed breed boy born at the beginning of January to a 12 pound long haired Chiweenie momma. At the moment, and at ten weeks of age, he is nine pounds, and so we estimate him to be headed to an adult weight of 25-30 pounds. Rollo has an unusual multi-colored nose and eyes that make him look like he is wearing eyeliner - he is truly unique.  What is immediate and obvious to see is that he has a very outgoing personality and loves everyone. Recently he participated in a puppy yoga class at the YMCA along with his siblings and several other puppies. Oh what fun he had running from person to person, keeping everyone entertained. After giving him this exposure, we can confidently say that he loves people, other dogs, and does well in unfamiliar situations. The class included men, women, children and unfamiliar puppies much larger than him. He did well with all. Rollo loves his toys and will gather them around him on his blanket next to the heating vent where he takes his naps. Rollo has a start on his potty training, consistently going to the same spot and using a potty mat by the door, completing his training should not be difficult.  Rollo will be up for any adventure you want to take him on and is ready to be your best buddy the last weekend of March.  He can transport northward on our transport van from Nashville.Tennessee, where we stop at different transport stops to the northeast.  Please write to us, add Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
