Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Yes, dog-savvy catsGood with kids: Yes, dog-savvy childrenCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: Mostly  Spotty is a lovable pup who lives life to the fullest! He is a medium energy pup, who loves to romp and play outside, and then nap (preferably in a spot by the window where the sun shines).  Spotty is a sweet, submissive boy who will fit in easily with most any dog crew. He is fostered in a multi-dog home and plays wonderfully with dogs of all ages and sizes. He loves playing tug of war with his foster brother. Spotty generally ignores cats so would likely be fine co-existing with a cat. He is gentle and patient when meeting children and would do well in a family with dog-savvy children who want to play with him.Spotty is eager to please and is very food motivated. He is fully crate trained and sleeps soundly in his crate overnight and has been crated for a few hours at a time during the day. He is mostly house trained and does best when kept on a regular schedule. He has mastered “touch” and is working on learning to “sit” on command. Spotty is making progress on his leash training, he has a little zig zag walk, but is making progress each day. Could this handsome boy be the one for you? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.lasthopek9.org. Story
Meet Milo - This PAL is *Hearing Impaired* so he won’t ever judge you for singing in the shower or a dropping a really bad joke ‍ Couch cuddles, belly rubs, and butt scratches are Milo’s love language. Despite his hearing, he is the typical dog that enjoys leisurely walks, lounging around, peanut butter, and chasing squirrels. Milo sleeps in his crate every night, hasn’t had any accidents with his foster and - he is a pretty chill guy!  Milo would love a home thats as chill as he is, where he can hang with his people and just be loved on.  Since he is hearing impaired, a home with large breed dog experience that will set up structure for him, that doesn’t have a ton of action is a best fit for him!  Milo Highlights:@5 yo/50 lbs mixed breedCrate TrainedMedium EnergyHousebroken Loves CuddlingGood on Leash working on e collar for communication Neutered, Vaccinated, Microchipped Milo is a true example of a gals best pal_______________Fostered in Massachusetts- Apply today  please remember we are all volunteers, incomplete applications will not be processed If you are interested in adopting a GBP rescue PAL, please submit an application and we will reach out to you within 48 hours to start the approval process.  https://galsbestpal.com/adoption/ It’s ok if you don’t know exactly what you are looking for, we are experts in matchmaking and can talk with you and figure out what PAL would be a good fit for your home!  If you would like to inquire about saving a life & becoming a FOSTER HERO, please fill out an application and a FOSTER HEROES TEAM volunteer will reach out to you to go over our lifesaving foster based rescue program! https://galsbestpal.com/foster/ To learn more about our mission, and to join our mailing list go to https://galsbestpal.com/ Follow us on FB and Instagram for extra photos, updates & videos of our available dogs. Story
My name is Robbie and I am puppy at heart and only 6 months old.  My pictures make me look big but ready I am not big at all. I only weigh 35 pounds at 6 months and they say I will be 65-70- pounds as an adult.  I LUV KIDS!   My heart leaps for joy when I See children that I can play with and love on.  I am a boy that loves to run fast and for a little bit of time too.  I need not only physical Exercise but also some fun games and training games to help my smart brain feel challenged too.  I need a fenced yard and someone To help share playtime and games with me sometimes.  I could use the company of another dog as well to help me with the physical Playtime outside and also to keep me active with socialization with other dogs.   We think that Robbie has some Pointer in him since He raises once leg and seems to point quite often during this outside playtime.  He is alert and very smart.   He walks pretty well on a leash and he is curious to learn more things about life.  He is not inside a lot so we would have to say that he could be housebroken fast if given some one on one Attention and training.  This boy is good with cats, dogs and adores children.  He never meets a stranger and he will needs a fenced yard To best live within safely and to run and play for long hours if the weather is good.  We want a wonderful dog savvy and loving family for Robbie.   He will be a 65 pounds boy when fully grown we think.   If you are interested in knowing more about Robbie please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Mention where you live.  We transport from Nashville, TN where we are based and we travel to the Northeastern region as well with our pre-adopted dogs.   Thank you for considering this precious boy   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 30, 2024, 2:10 pm

Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 40 lbs  Age 2 years       Sweet Stubby was found wandering alone in a rural part of Mississippi, and taken in by an elderly man who fell in love with this gentle boy but couldn’t keep him. He called Wags for help and the rescue took him in, The man’s grandson named him Stubby for his little short legs!     Stubby is a sweet boy, he is gentle and gets along fine with all the dogs at the rescue. He was recently neutered and has all his vaccinations and is ready for a loving home. Stubby absolutely loves to be with his people, he follows the director of the rescue all over the property, his little tail wagging. He is gentle with children and just a great family dog. Stubby is house trained at Wags but like any rescue may need a refresher while he adjusted to a new home.   Stubby is ready to come to the northeast on Saturday, March 8. He will make a wonderful member of the family.       Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. For more information on adopting Marshmallow or any of our Wags dogs please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com    April 22, 2025, 5:56 am
