Hello, We are looking for the perfect home for our foster pup Arlo. Arlo is a 2.5 year old Wirehaired Pointer and Great Pyrennes mix. Weighs about 55 lbs. We have been fostering him for a co-worker who is going through some hardships and now can no longer keep him. A few things to know about Arlo: 1. He is a very sweet dog. He gets along with people, kids, and other dogs. He lived with 2 young boys who he loved dearly and has been around small kids. 2. He is very smart. He can open front doors and some locks. 3. He is a loyal guard dog. You will know if someone comes to the door. 4. He has a ton of energy! If you are looking for a dog to walk, run or hike miles with, he is perfect. He also loves to play fetch and swim. 5. He is great riding in the car. 6. He is not good with cats, as he has a strong prey drive. 7. He has severe seperation anxiety and gets sad and anxious when left alone. 8. He has been around farm animals. Thank you for considering.

We adopted Lucy about 1 1/2 ago from a local shelter. She is a great dog, very loving and playful, always ready run and chase things in the yard. She is very loyal and protective of me my wife our kids and the house, with that being said, this is where there can be a problem. Once she knows you there is absolutely no worries but introducing new people needs to be handled properly. We love her SO MUCH and this is really hard but there is a better home for her. We have a very busy house with lots of neighborhood friends and kids coming and going, which opens a door for her to get in trouble. Lucy would be a perfect fit in a not so busy house-hold with a yard to run and play. She's loves walks on leash and is always ready for a car ride. She loves her toys and will entertain herself around the house and yard. She is very well mannered in the house, never messes anything up even when left alone for hours. Also has no problems being out side unattended threw the day.

I do walk on leash but due to my muscle size I do need some leash walking polishing. I will do best in a calm and active home with another dog or no dog. I would enjoy walks/hikes, outdoor outings and lots of companionship. Also need a house with a securely fenced yard.. No apartments!
