Story
Cane is a super super sweet cat who was found in the street hit by a car. We took him in to our rescue and he had surgery to repair his leg. He's healed up fine and doing so great now! He loves attention and is always begging to be pet. He did test positive for FIV, so he would be best suited as an only cat, or in a home with other friendly cats if they get along. FIV is only spread during aggressive fighting where blood is drawn, and is otherwise safe to be around if the cats get along. Adoption fee is $100 Cane is a polydactyl and has tons of extra toes in the front and has extra toes in the back too!

Story
Pancake is a big hunk of love...BIG, being the operative word. He is a big teddy bear and he is a polydactyl so he has thumbs! Pancake loves attention, affection and pets and doesn't mind being held and cuddled, if your arms are big enough to hold him. His elderly owner unexpectedly passed away and Pancake was confused about his new circumstances but he quickly warmed up once he realized he was being cared for by a kind rescuer that showered him with love, attention and tasty wet food. Pancake has the most adorable personality and he is not shy about asking for affection from his foster mom and he loves to quietly sleep beside her at night. He is a pretty chill guy that enjoys long naps in a plush cat bed or on top of a pet heating pad. Pancake would prefer to be adopted into a single-pet home. You are invited to meet this handsome hunk and see what a great cat he is. Story
Milo is surely one of the most unique cats you'll ever meet. He's a big cheeked orange tabby with white mittens that even include separate thumbs! Even his back feet have extra toes! And to top it off, he has a naturally short, bobtail. His physical differences aside, Milo is a protector of peace, with a calm yet still playful presence. As a former tomcat, "adopted" but left outside to fend for himself even for food and water, Milo had a rough first year or so of life. As an unneutered male roaming the streets, it was inevitable that he got into fights with other cats. A neighbor who leaves out water and food for outdoor cats noticed that the exceptionally friendly and playful Milo had lost weight and was lethargic. Luckily, the neighbor reached out for help and his fosters got him into medical care immediately, resulting in a complete recovery! An unfortunate effect of his time outside that cannot be cured, however, is that Milo is FIV positive. This is not a death sentence as Milo should still live a long and healthy life. He can and does live easily and safely with other cats without transmitting this disease. FIV is typically only contracted in blood drawing or deep biting confrontations, such as two unneutered males posturing over territory. Milo is neutered now, and has never appeared aggressive or mean to his fosters, not even when he's picked up and given hugs and kisses! Milo is so cute with his little meows and when he's taking care of his babies, especially Clara (KRLA-A-7224) and Reji (KRLA-A-7225). But he also plays with the "teenagers" Hisstopher (KRLA-A-72230, Daisy (KRLA-A-6844) and Mini (KRLA-A-6843), and he is always listening, ready to step in if someone starts playing too hard. He'll play with other kittens or by himself, but he's mostly just happy lounging around most of the day and eating! Milo deserves a safe home where he'll be cared for and loved as much as possible. He's such a unique, handsome male, who despite being brought up outside, is loving, trusting and sweet with people and other cats. Come meet and fall in love with Milo today! Story
Are you an experienced cat guardian who would like to give a shy, under-socialized cat a chance? Do you have a soft spot for overlooked cats? If you said yes and would like to learn more about Molly, please read on. Molly's journey hasn't been easy - she comes from an outdoor colony and is continually building her trust towards humans. She birthed many litters prior to her rescue who have all been adopted since. She's now waiting for her turn with the right family. The ideal adopter will provide the time, patience, and understanding she needs to blossom into her true self. While she may never become a snuggly cat, with the right environment and care, she will undoubtedly thrive. It's evident she has great potential as she's been doing great living indoors. Molly is a stunning dilute orange/cream cat with a unique feature - she's polydactyl, meaning she has extra toes! Molly is not only beautiful but also incredibly low maintenance, making her an ideal companion for the right person. She is quiet and reserved, preferring a calm and quiet environment without the hustle and bustle of children or dogs. Molly will benefit from having a cat companion in the home who can show her the ropes and help boost her confidence. She is most compatible with confident and friendly male cats. She enjoys the company of other friendly felines too. Molly loves spending time by the window, watching birds and soaking up the sunshine. She also has a fondness for churu and is food and treat motivated, making her easy to spoil. She loves to be brushed, and to be petted on her head, chin and along her back. Molly also has great litter box manners. Current Dislikes: She is fearful of feet walking toward her if she is at ground level. She's also afraid of entirely open spaces. She's not a fan of her paws being touched or having her nails trimmed yet. These dislikes may diminish over time when she becomes more trusting. This animal is shy at first and will need time to adapt to a new home. Please contact the foster at thelmanyunt@yahoo.com

Story
Once upon a time, Nova had a home, but when he was only a year old, he was surrendered to Kitten Rescue. That was 2015. Nova prefers the company of cats to humans and desires a special home that would provide him plenty of his own space. Or at least plenty of cat-only spaces. He's a cats' cat, thriving in the company of other feline friends and serving as a sweet companion to older cats. While he may not enjoy much direct human interaction, Nova makes up for it with his quirky appearance, resembling a cartoon dog with his polydactyl paws. He and his late mother came to the Sanctuary together, and now Nova is ready for home to call his own. If you're looking for an independent cat, Nova could be the perfect addition to your home.
