You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi I'm Mittens, I was found in a wooded area where I was repeatedly being chased by the community tomcats.  As you can imagine, I am having a hard time trusting anyone and have been hiding a lot.  Even in my foster home I would run and hide if I heard a loud noise or anything I don't recognize.  You can pet me, comb me and sometimes pick me up but I will nibble on you when I've had enough.  I would be best with an experienced cat care person.   I have started to play with toys which is a very good sign.   To schedule a meet/greet with this pawsome kitty, we recommend that you complete a Pre-Adoption Application which is available here:   https://www.shelteringhands.org/adoptionapplication.  For additional information, email our Adoptions Team at adoptions@shelteringhands.org.  Once applications are approved the Adoptions Team will coordinate the best way for you to get your new furry family member and bring them home. Honey is a very sweet unique mini Hemingway female cat. She is a lover and just once attention and to be noticed and pet other than that she is calm and house trained 100%. I would keep her forever however I moved to Clearwater and found out afterwards that I was not able to have pets of any kind here and now I have to rehome her and I have until basically today maybe tomorrow at the latest to find a good home for her.
