Polydactyl kittens & cats in Carbondale, Illinois

Someone dumped Rosie and her sister (Midnight) when they were kittens and they came straight to my door and meowed the saddest meows ever heard. I let them in. That was 10 years ago. Due to health issues, finances and our living situation I need to find a home for Rosie. Rosie can get along with other cats but it really depends on the other cat/s. Rosie gets along well with children, people, dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits. Rosie and Midnight have been together their whole lives. I do believe they can be separated as they are not that close anymore. Rosie is very gentle and will put her paws on your lap or arm to get attention. Rosie has the softest meow and is part mainecoon and has all the mainecoon traits. Rosie's color is tortoise with one butterscotch paw. She would do well going straight to someone's arms, but would not do well in a shelter. I want someone who can give her a forever home. She is 10 - 12 years old and has no health problems. She likes riding on the dashboard.
