Story
Maya is apx 10 years old and 13 pounds. She is a PomChi mix and is one of the sweetest dogs. She loves attention and will melt under your love. Maya is from Ontario originally and was well loved for many years. She found herself at a shelter through no fault of her own. This has left her wanting to be loved and protective of what she thinks is hers. She resource guards food and the area she thinks is hers so would do well as an only dog or in a home where the other animals would not react to her outbursts. She would benefit from training and the bond that would form. She loves playing with all dogs outside of the home though! She still loves to run and play. She also likes cats as long as they don’t bother her when she is being protective. Maya doesn’t bark much and LOVES her walks. She would do well in any type of home and doesn’t need a fenced yard. If you like long walks and cuddling, she is your perfect addition. Approved adopters please send your hold requests to the email you were given.
